TOTVS, one of the largest technology companies in the country, has just signed a partnership with Workalove, a platform that promotes the connection between universities, students and companies. The objective of the partnership is to make available to the market a showcase for the exhibition of vacancies for university students, benefiting students, educational institutions and companies around the country.
With the integration, TOTVS and Workalove intend to help reduce the unemployment gap among young people. According to the National Continuous Monthly Household Survey (PNAD Continuous), released at the end of November by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the unemployment rate in the age group between 18 and 24 years old, reached a record of 31, 4% in the third quarter of last year.
“The first company to trust the project and register on the platform, offering their vacancies and supporting the initiative, was TOTVS. We believe in Brazil that it does and in the country's socioeconomic development process, intensely valuing the dialogue between these three agents - educational institution, students and companies - as the main responsible for an impact transformation in Brazil, as it happens in other countries ”, says the director of the Construction and Projects, Educational and Services segments at TOTVS, Eduardo Pires.
According to the CEO of Workalove, Fernanda Verdolin, TOTVS solutions in educational institutions play a fundamental role in the effectiveness of the platform, as the company's integrated model allows access to the complete database, with information from each student, such as the course, disciplines, performance, etc. “Based on this information, which is registered in TOTVS Educacional, we were able to join the data with the student's behavioral perspective, drawn by Workalove's intelligence, and do the match between the students and the places available on the platform ”, he explains.
One of the educational institutions that uses TOTVS solutions and works with Workalove is FECAP - Fundação Escola de Comércio Álvares Penteado, which aims to facilitate the access of its students to companies. “FECAP has in its DNA a proximity to the market, especially for its nature as a business school and our recognized courses. We intend to have with Workalove an enhancement of the students' relationship with the companies that offer trainee programs, internships and jobs ”, comments Taiguara Langrafe, vice-chancellor of FECAP.
To encourage membership in the platform, TOTVS and Workalove are offering 12 months free for educational institutions TOTVS customers to use the tool. For companies that are interested in publishing vacancies and academic events everything is free, just register on the platform.
