Selected students from the Paula Souza Center schools will undergo training in technology and marketing, and will also have the opportunity to qualify for a position at Accenture, among other companies, at the end of the course

Salesforce, one of the references in CRM, and K2 University, specialized in technology training for professionals and Trailhead Academy's Authorized Training Provider are enabling the São Paulo State government to improve the employability of 1,200 students from the Center's technical and vocational schools Paula Souza through the program My Chance. K2 University has partnered with Minha Chance to promote professional evolution by developing Salesforce skills with learning content in Trailhead, Salesforce's free online learning platform. The partnership includes 400 job opportunities at Accenture for graduates, who may also be hired by other companies.

In addition to the entry of students, the initiative will be open to women who have had long career breaks and to seniors, who will have the opportunity to develop Salesforce skills to boost their careers. Salesforce, Accenture and K2 University have successfully carried out similar initiatives around the world to promote diversity, such as the initiative Bring the Women Back to Work in Switzerland. Bringing women back to work helps women gain the skills and experience they need to get back into the workforce after career breaks. Salesforce and K2 University plan to build on these successes by launching similar programs in Brazil.

“The course reinforces Minha Chance's commitment to being close to people and helping them in their professional development. It is a great opportunity for everyone who wants to qualify and enter the job market. And the sector, of course, also benefits from qualified professionals”, said the secretary of Economic Development of the State, Patricia Ellen.

Approximately 1,200 students will undergo more than 100 hours of training in the technology skills that are in high demand using Trailhead, as well as counseling and coaching provided by K2 University. Accenture will also provide students with real-world problem solving experiences and a large team of experts to work with. The course will help students acquire the skills necessary to become Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Marketers. According to an IDC survey, Salesforce Economy will create 300,000 new jobs and add US$ 49 billion in new business revenue for the Latin America region between 2018 and 2024.

“Salesforce Economy is constantly growing, and career opportunities related to our solutions are among the most sought after for the future,” says Fabio Costa, General Manager of Salesforce in Brazil. “By empowering K2 University in its partnership with Minha Chance to help these students, we are also helping to fill the tech industry's talent gap and setting a higher standard of knowledge with these young professionals so they can succeed anywhere. ”.

When the four-month course is complete, Minha Chance will join forces with Salesforce and K2 University to help students connect to job opportunities by introducing them to companies in São Paulo.

At applications for the program will start on June 10th. and those interested will be able to find out more details on the live from 06/10 to 18:00 (Brasilia time) in https://bit.ly/3uJDQ7A.

“K2 University is pleased to be involved in this program, helping students learn the skills they need to start working in rewarding careers in the Salesforce ecosystem. Along with our programs Net New Talent that bring new talent into the technology market, this project will provide companies with the skills they need to deliver their vital digital transformation strategies. Therefore, it is with great pleasure that we offer our expertise to Minha Chance to help with this fantastic project”, comments Demian Cury, country manager of K2 Partnering in Brazil.
