On Tuesday (05/04), the Brazilian Association of Software Companies (ABES) was recognized as a National Reference during the Digital Transformation Brazil Award – Ozires Silva 2020/2022, with the project "In search of a more Digital and Less Unequal Brazil”. The association was represented at the ceremony by Clara Savelli (Relationship with Associates), Paulo Milliet Roque (President of ABES) and Rodolfo Fücher (President of the Board).

To obtain this important recognition, ABES presented a set of Innovation and Digital Transformation initiatives in tune with its purpose of contributing to the construction of a More digital and less unequal Brazil, including: LGPD Diagnosis, Startup Internship Program, New Times Webinar, LGPD Forum, Sustainability Diagnosis, Mobilization for Inequality Reduction and the An Ethical Company Program.

Given the evolution of the use of personal data in the digital world, ABES developed, in partnership with the consultancy EY, the LGPD Diagnosis, which aims to help companies verify their level of compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and complete the compliance process in relation to its requirements and requirements.

To further contribute to the improvement of company management and the UN's Sustainable Development goals, ABES launched, in 2021, the Sustainability Diagnosis, considering the importance of management models that promote sustainable development and adopt good ESG practices. The tool allows the analysis of management performance, always under this prism.

In addition, ABES also continued tothe Startup Internship Program, whose focus is to help emerging companies, which intensively use technology and wish to operate or expand their activities in Brazil, to overcome the complexities present in the market, making ABES' experience in the legal, regulatory, tax and marketing.

Through the An Ethics Company Program, ABES strengthens its commitment to encouraging free of charge the three pillars of an integrity program: the compliance policy, training and the whistleblowing channel. In 2021, the program's highlights were the growth in the number of participants in the training offered and the closing of a partnership with ABIMDE (Brazilian Association of Defense and Security Materials Industries).
