With a trajectory for expansion in Latin America, Ramo strengthens its presence in Ecuador and drives innovation in the business management sector

Ramo, an SAP partner for SAP Business One, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and SAP SAC solutions, and Loversoft, an SAP partner in Ecuador for SAP Business One, announced a merger on March 10, 2025. The partnership aims to expand Ramo in Latin America and exchange experiences for the business management sector.

The merger will initially focus on integrating operations, training teams and strengthening relationships with clients in Ecuador, with completion expected by the end of 2025, resulting in the establishment of the Ecuador Branch. The new structure will have operations in Quito and Guayaquil, covering the entire Ecuadorian market.

“Our goal is to offer high-quality solutions and expand support to customers in Latin America. The merger with Loversoft accelerates this mission, ensuring consulting, support and implementation of SAP software for business management, in addition to expanding our presence in the Latin American market,” says Dave Lafer, Co-CEO of Ramo.

Luis Garrido, Partner and CEO of Loversoft, will take over leadership of the Ecuador Branch, reporting to the board of the Brazil and Peru Branches. The management model will integrate the best practices of both companies, aiming for efficiency and alignment with global standards, meeting the needs of the local market.

The Ecuador Branch will begin its operations with more than 70 SAP clients from the Loversoft base, which has eight years of experience in the SAP Business One market in Ecuador, operating in sectors such as retail, export, logistics, oil and mining.

The Ecuadorian management software market is expanding, driven by the digitalization of business processes, with opportunities for new implementations of SAP Business One and, in the future, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. “Considering this estimate and our mapping of small and medium-sized companies for the Ecuadorian economy, the potential for adoption of management solutions is significant and promising,” says Lafer.

Ramo plans to double its revenue in the next five years, investing in innovation, new businesses, portfolio growth and expansion into Latin America. The merger with Loversoft will allow the introduction of innovative solutions developed in Brazil and Peru into the Ecuadorian market, including add-ons exclusive services. In addition, Ramo will bring its experience in cloud services for greater flexibility and scalability for customers, combined with close and specialized service, with local support and consultancy to ensure maximum efficiency in business management.

Strengthening local teams is a priority, with training programs in sales, marketing and implementation of SAP solutions. Also in 2025, Ramo Equador will adopt a business model based on partners, replicating the successful model in Brazil. “As part of the local investments, we will expand our network of business partners in Ecuador, maintaining the same incentive and support policies adopted in Brazil and Peru”, concludes Lafer.

To mark this new phase, Ramo and Loversoft held an exclusive event with customers and partners to explain the details of the merger, strengthen connections, strengthen relationships and consolidate the companies' commitment to the local market.
