Internship program has already trained 3916 professionals and 210 have been hired
NTT DATA, a global provider of IT and digital business services, and DIO, a free technology education platform for career development, launch a new bootcamp NTT DATA Android Developer, with the objective of hiring dozens of new talents in several cities from Brazil for your internship program. Six thousand scholarships will be opened for university students. Registration started on December 13th and can be done by accessing the link .
In just over a year, the partnership between NTT DATA and DIO has already awarded more than 80,000 free scholarships in bootcamps to areas such as Java, .net, Data Engineering, Kotlin, Testing/QA and, now, Android Developer.
Students qualified to participate in the bootcamp must be living or have availability to live near one of the following cities: Uberlândia, Florianópolis, Recife, Brasília, Goiânia, Curitiba, Blumenau. The program is free. At the end, participants receive a certificate and may also participate in the selection process for 15 internship vacancies at NTT DATA, with the possibility of following a career in the IT multinational.
“There is no longer any doubt that the acceleration of digital transformation due to the pandemic has further increased the demand for qualified labor in the information technology (IT) sector in the world”, says Ricardo Neves, CEO of NTT DATA Brasil. A recent study by BRASSCOM points to a potential deficit of 500,000 IT positions by 2025 in Brazil. “In the context of 13.5 million unemployed, our intention with the bootcamp is not just to train talent for NTTDATA, but to offer qualification to thousands of young people to occupy positions in the market”, says Neves. "In this way, we believe in contributing to the best use of talent and, consequently, the country's development."
Registration for the NTT DATA Android Developer bootcamp will be open until January 17, 2022 and can be done through link. Participants must complete all educational experiences and, thus, start the selection process at NTT DATA.
