#JornadaTech will be a series of online lectures, given by company and market executives, in order to attract new talent and promote employability in the sector
Microsoft launches #JornadaTech, an initiative that aims to promote training and employability in the technology market. The event takes place from September 27th to October 6th, 100% online. The program consists of a series of free online lectures with experts from large companies about careers and new skills that need to be developed for those looking to work in the technology sector. The presentations will be hosted by Microsoft Reactor São Paulo, a community-based technical learning and sharing hub, by developers, for developers. Interested parties can register at event website.
At #JornadaTech, participants will have access to content provided by Microsoft experts and also by guest speakers such as: Damiana Costa, Tech Lead and Staff Engineer at PicPay; Aryanne Silva, Software Engineer at idwall and Mariana Alves, Digital Analytics & Martech Manager at Itaú.
Participants will also have access to the Connect+, Microsoft's professional qualification and job connection platform, where they can continue their studies and build a learning path for free and sign up for the Modern Talent Hub, a portal that is part of the program and connects new technology talent with IT recruiters. more than 90 partner companies.

Conecta+ is an initiative that is part of the Microsoft Mais Brasil plan and covers two fronts, Training and Connection with the job market”, explains Patrícia Sala, director of business strategy at Microsoft Brazil.
#JornadaTech is also part of Microsoft Mais Brasil, a plan designed to address some of the country's issues that have become even more evident due to the pandemic, such as low professional qualifications, for example. From October 2020 to July 2022, approximately 6 million people were impacted by different Microsoft professional qualification or retraining initiatives.
The Microsoft Reactor
Microsoft Reactor São Paulo is the first Reactor in Latin America and was launched in 2020. It aims to help developers and startups learn new skills, meet new colleagues and keep them up to date with the latest technologies. Microsoft Reactor is a global, locally-based program in 12 countries with a diverse mix of hands-on workshops, panel discussions, and community events suited to various skill levels, by developers, for developers. Reactor events are always free and open to the public. They offer online learning and on-demand resources and enable developers and technology professionals to connect with their local technical community as well as global Microsoft experts to develop new skills.
