Executive brings experience in creating best-in-class technology, as well as a passion for engineering and innovation

DigiCert, Inc., a global provider of TLS/SSL, IoT and PKI solutions, has named Jason Sabin CTO of the company. He has served as Chief Information Officer since 2017 and has been Chief Security Officer and Head of Research and Development.

With more than eight years with the company, Sabin has already worked in the supervision areas of Quality Control, Product Development, Research and Development, Security and Operations, in addition to IT Infrastructure. Most recently, as CIO at DigiCert, he led his team toward next-generation technology across platforms, infrastructure and systems. Prior to that, as CSO, he built a team for security, processes, and procedures to protect the company's critical assets and systems.

He made his first programming in fifth grade and has over 20 years of experience. Before joining the organization, he worked at NetIQ, Novell and Volera. Sabin also speaks at conferences on security, IoT and technology. The executive was twice named Utah Genius and has issued more than 50 patents related to identity, access management and cloud computing.
