Digital identity company Inloco announces that it is changing its brand to Incognia, a movement that aims to increase the company's global visibility. Starting in January, the company dedicates its efforts only to the solution of digital identity, designed to serve companies with mobile applications in the financial, e-commerce, payments and digital wallets sectors. Founded six years ago in Brazil, the brand started its global expansion project in 2020, with the launch of Incognia in the United States. With this change, Inloco and Incognia are now a global company under the name Incognia.

Incognia will be focused on supporting the growing demand for mobile payments with payment solutions identity verification and frictionless authentication based on its award-winning behavioral biometric technology by location. Recent research by Allied Market Research shows that the mobile payments market, which from 2019 to 2027 will grow almost 10 times, from US$1.7 trillion to US$12 trillion worldwide. The name Incognia comes from the word Incognito, which means unknown. With growing awareness and global privacy legislation, including LGPD, GDPR and CCPA, the nomenclature emphasizes the company's commitment to delivering solutions that put privacy first. Incognia is a leader in enabling the use of location technology for the purposes of fraud prevention and authentication without the need for direct identification of people, using advanced encryption techniques and without collecting any other sensitive data from users, guaranteeing their anonymity. According to the CEO and founder, André Ferraz, the brand's attention will be on the private digital identity solution. “This is a milestone for the company. Inloco was founded in 2014 in Recife by André Ferraz, an entrepreneur recognized by Forbes as an Under 30 personality and currently has offices in São Paulo, New York and Palo Alto (California). The company focuses on using device location and intelligence data to reduce friction and fraud for trusted users when opening new accounts, logging in or paying with mobile apps. Incognia's location technology uses network signals and sensors on the device to provide highly accurate location information without capturing any personally identifiable information.
