Partnership positions the distributor as a gateway for the brand's products in the national market and offers resellers an excellent opportunity to expand their IT portfolios with mobile device management solutions for medium-sized companies and various market segments, such as education, third party industry and government agencies

Ingram Micro Brasil, a subsidiary of the worldwide distributor Ingram Micro, has just signed a partnership with Jamf, a company that offers solutions in the management and protection of devices and systems, and now distributes the product lines JamfPro, JamfConnect and Jamf Protect throughout the country. The commercial alliance aims to increase Jamf's visibility in the Brazilian market, attracting new customers and offering support in logistics, structure and market knowledge. For resellers, it is an excellent opportunity to expand their IT portfolio with suitable solutions for different verticals.

“Ingram Micro has a complete ecosystem of value-added services and technical support for its reseller partners, which can benefit Jamf in terms of training, support and marketing resources to promote its device management solutions” , explains Ricardo Rodrigues, director of products for the Commercial, Consumer and Mobility area at Ingram Micro Brasil. “In addition, the partnership can contribute to greater access for Jamf to products from other manufacturers also distributed by Ingram Micro, helping the company to develop more complete solutions for the needs of customers.”

Jamf will be located within Ingram Micro's “Commercial, Consumer & Mobility” business unit and, under the agreement, will provide its end-to-end Apple device management solutions, serving multiple market needs. In this context, Ingram Micro plays the important role of being Jamf's great gateway to the Brazilian market, expanding resellers' access to the brand's solutions and helping to make the partner's business even more successful, with the offer of complementary solutions, training and technical support.

According to Mariana Mattos, Channel Account Executive at Jamf Brazil, the expectation of the partnership “is the highest possible, since Ingram Micro is much more than just a facilitator for Jamf”. The executive points out that “based on our experience in other regions, Ingram Micro has always been our best ally. “With its talented team, its important sales channels and our product, we are sure that together we can achieve the best results”, she says.

The agreement provides Brazilian resellers with the possibility of expanding their IT catalogs with solutions to connect, manage and protect Apple devices, such as JamfPro, JamfConnect and Jamf Protect products. “We also offer top-of-the-line cybersecurity products for multiplatforms that are divided into Data Policy, Threat Defense and Private Access”, adds Mariana.

“Our resellers will have the chance to provide mobile device management solutions to medium-sized companies in different market sectors, such as finance, technology, government, marketing, education and the third sector”, points out Rodrigues. “This will bring Jamf a better position in the IT market for resellers, which, in turn, will attract new customers. We want to help our partners expand their relationship base and increase their ability to serve a broader audience.”

Jamf offers comprehensive and customizable software solutions that can help organizations of all sizes manage Apple devices securely and efficiently. “The demand for Jamf to enter Brazil came from the needs of the Brazilian market in recent years. We followed these local requirements and now we are here ready and eager to continue growing. Our goal is to be better known in Brazil and, for that, we need and want to work side by side with the big business partners”, emphasizes Mariana Mattos.

Ingram Micro's channel program will provide training and technical support for partners to learn how to use Jamf's solutions and to foster cross-selling between Jamf's distributed brands.
