LiDAR sensors and intelligent sensing solutions join distributor's security and IoT portfolio
Ingram Micro Brasil, subsidiary of one of the world's largest technology distributors and a global reference in the IT supply chain, services for mobile devices, cloud, automation and logistics solutions, is the first distributor of Quanergy, a global leader in development and manufacturing of LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) sensors and intelligent sensing solutions in Brazil.

According to IDC Brazil, the IoT segment should move US$ 745 billion worldwide in 2019, with the potential to surpass the US$ 1 trillion mark in 2022. Investments in machine learning and artificial intelligence for the security sector should reach US$ 671 million.
“Our goal is to be the main IT security distributor in the country, and Quanergy will help us to leverage the sale of physical security solutions and integrated systems, for smart cities and defense, as well as infrastructure products such as switches, servers and network security,” says Nakano.
