Ingram Micro Brasil, a subsidiary of one of the main global distributors of IT solutions and services, starts distributing Sennheiser products in the country. The main objective of the new agreement is to serve national integrators and resellers of all levels, thus increasing capillarity in the corporate communications segment and the local presence of the manufacturer, which is a leader in professional audio equipment. As a result of the agreement, the partners will have professional corporate collaboration solutions available to offer end customers of different segments and sizes, meeting the most varied needs of the current job market.

The distribution focus of the new partnership is on the business communication line and its list of items aimed at the corporate world, such as the TeamConnect line, designed for medium and large meeting rooms and auditoriums. “Our intention is to bring products from the corporate vertical to more and more customers, taking advantage of Ingram Micro’s expertise throughout the national territory”, explains Daniel Reis, Sales director and partner at Sennheiser in Brazil. “As a highlight, we have the TCCM (TeamConnect Ceiling Medium) ceiling microphone, which has a coverage of up to 40 m² and is considered the best option for medium-sized meeting, lecture or collaboration spaces.”

Within the structure of Ingram Micro Brasil, Sennheiser is located in the Pro-AV business unit, which is part of the Commercial and Consumer Division, directed by Paulo Fernandes. The executive highlights the importance of the partnership and the increased demand for professional audio and video solutions in the last two years, especially with the popularization of hybrid work. “We went through a period of portfolio expansion in the search for increasingly professional solutions in audio, video and connectivity. With this, our team met the main global manufacturers of solutions for this segment”. For Fernandes, the entry of Sennheiser, one of the main players in this market, as a partner, will make it possible to offer an increasingly complete portfolio to Brazilian resellers. “The undisputed quality of Sennheiser products fits perfectly with our objectives, enriching Ingram Micro Brasil’s range of corporate audio solutions.”

Ingram Micro is already a distributor of Sennheiser products in North America and the joint experience between the brands was a decisive factor in the expansion of business in Brazil. According to Daniel Reis, this is a natural path and a choice that guarantees Sennheiser more quality and reliability in the distribution of its portfolio in the country. “Our intention is to maintain the level of excellence and success achieved in the United States. With Ingram Micro acting in the distribution of our line of corporate products, we will expand our customers and, certainly, reach new audiences”, says the manufacturer's executive.

Another objective of the agreement, according to Ingram Micro, will be to assist Sennheiser in identifying, engaging and enabling channels in its technologies, offering solutions in a professional manner to customers and generating profitability for the channel ecosystem. “Resellers will have the opportunity to operate with the best products from a collaboration market that is growing year after year”, highlights Fernandes.

“Ingram Micro’s Pro-AV portfolio already included digital signage with monitors, LED panels, interactive screens, audio matrices and switches and speakers. Now, with the arrival of Sennheiser, we will further enrich the portfolio and complete our Pro-AV solution with complete microphone systems for lectures, conferences, assisted listening and meetings, among others”, he adds.
