With unique features and capabilities in the market, the BigID platform that helps companies of all sizes to face the three big challenges related to data – governance, privacy and security – is now available for distributor partners
The experience, reputation, capillarity and breadth of Ingram Micro's reseller network were decisive for BigID to nominate the subsidiary of the largest global IT distributor as its partner in Brazil. Thus, from now on, the North American solutions, recognized for its innovation in data intelligence, will become part of the portfolio of the business unit Digital Workplace of Advanced Solutions of Ingram Micro Brasil and to make possible BigID's plan to serve five key sectors of the Brazilian economy: financial services, retail, telecommunications and media, manufacturing and the public sector.
“These are already highly digitized sectors, which operate with large volumes of data and which every day require more control and governance, whether for strategic, business or regulatory purposes.”, says Daniel Osaq, Director of Alliances and Partnerships for Latin America at BigID. But, according to him, this does not mean that BigID will limit its activities. “Our solutions serve all companies that deal with data and depend on it to operate their business, and Ingram Micro will further facilitate our market penetration, helping not only to achieve our sales targets and add new logos to our base, but also also in the positioning of our brand in Brazilian territory. We are very happy to have Ingram Micro as our distributor in Brazil and, soon, in other Latin American countries. The help of a partner who knows the market and inspires confidence wherever he goes gives us the confidence to grow in a sustainable and organized manner.”, says the director of BigID.

Ingram Micro Brasil also celebrates the partnership with BigID, as it adds to its portfolio a cloud solution focused on information security for large volumes of data and with features not found in other tools on the market. “With the LGPD and so many other challenges to manage information in the digital world, companies need solutions that minimize risk situations. In this sense, BigID is ready to serve from the SMB market to large corporations, as it is a unique technological platform for data management, focused on privacy, governance and security”, says Roberto Gero, Director of Advanced Computing at Ingram Micro.
According to Gero, the platform is fully modular, scalable and can be used to reduce information redundancy, offering the customer an interesting ROI in terms of storing information and even preventing fraud, detecting access and the correct data. “BigID's products allow companies to exploit the full potential of the large volume of information captured day after day, focusing on data integration, privacy and information accuracy”. In addition, the director reinforces that one of the main differentials of the solution is precisely the possibility of addressing these three types of project - governance, privacy and security - from a single platform, which can work in an on-premise model, in the cloud or in a hybrid way and with simple and very flexible licensing.
Osaq also recalls that data is an important transformation asset for any organization, and that currently the problem is not the scarcity of data, but its excess. “Each company also has its own data and needs and it is from this context that BigID positions itself in a unique way in the market and connects with its customers. We can help any company work with their data in a smart, efficient, controlled, secure and governed way, and with Ingram Micro as a partner, we will leverage this message even further.”
