The initial highlight will be the native and open Multilayer Detection and Response (XDR) platform, which allows automating operations and optimizing resources by integrating security solutions that already exist in the customers' environment.

Ingram Micro Brasil, a subsidiary of one of the main global IT distributors, announces a new agreement to distribute in the country the living security solutions of Trellix, a company based in the heart of Silicon Valley, California/USA, and formed by Symphony Technology Group (STG), from the merger between McAfee Enterprise and FireEye.

The agreement's main objectives are to amplify the message about XDR (Multi-Layer Detection and Response) and its benefits in the current transformation journey, helping more companies to make the most of the technology, preserving the investments made in other cybersecurity solutions and maintaining your data secure from a unified approach.

Ingram Micro will distribute in Brazil the entire portfolio of Trellix solutions, which has combined technologies and resources in the endpoint operations, network and security spaces with a focus on accelerating technological innovation through machine learning and automation. However, the biggest initial highlight will be the XDR platform, which allows automating operations and optimizing resources from the integration of security solutions that already exist in the customers' environment.

Alexandre Nakano, Director of Networks and Cybersecurity at Ingram Micro, highlights the importance of the new partnership for the company's portfolio. “Trellix is a pioneer in the XDR market and FireEye brings great expertise in the integration of the most distinct solutions for customer information security, uniting intelligence and automation in a single point of control. Now, with the unification of the FireEye and McAfee Enterprise portfolios, which were already partners of Ingram Micro Brasil, we will significantly expand our operations in this market, bringing knowledge from both companies to protect our customers' businesses. There are more than 650 native integrations to provide the necessary automation to survive in an ecosystem as competitive and dynamic as the current one”, he comments.

Also according to Nakano, companies currently face many challenges in the area of security, not only because of the increase in the attack surface, but because of the new moment of hybrid and remote work that has the cloud as an important part of its infrastructure. “We are living in a threat landscape that is not only growing in volume, but also in sophistication and complexity. Within this context, Trellix's XDR platform plays a prominent role. We have witnessed historic moments in the field of cybersecurity, and this is one of them.”

“As today's organizations strive to achieve digital transformation, a strong foundation of security is needed to ensure continued innovation, growth and resilience,” said Ryan Goss, Trellix Vice President of Sales for Latin America. “The partnership with Ingram Micro Brasil will be extremely strategic for us to bring customers from all over Brazil the information and solutions needed to automate processes and pass through the changes arising from digital transformation in a safe way, extracting the most from their investments already made and saving money. valuable resources”, he adds.
