A few days ago, people were reflecting on everything that happened and what didn't happen too: how many dreams were fulfilled, how many new people became part of the friendship list, how many new flavors you can taste, how many new places you've visited, how many tears shed, how many hugs he gave and won, how many people he helped and how many he was helped by.
I really like the practice of the thanksgiving jar and I suggest everyone to practice it in their homes and in their companies. It is something very simple, but that makes all the difference, especially in moments when our strength is tested and we forget to thank all the gifts we receive over the course of a day, a week, a month, a year.

Have you ever stopped to give thanks for the gift of being able to walk to your front door alone? A lot of people don't have that blessing, you know?! He has already thanked him for not breathing on machines, for being able to see his son's smile every day, for being able to feel the delicate perfume of his wife's skin, for being able to think to find solutions to daily problems, for the opportunity to be surrounded by people who worry about you, because you have someone to love?
Right now, there are people enjoying their Christmas presents, looking for gyms to burn their New Year's supper calories, packing their bags to go on a trip.
At this very moment, there are people without clothes to wear, without a roof to live in, without ever having seen a Santa Claus, without someone to hug them.
In my walk of life, more and more I have learned to be grateful for each opportunity received, for each person who crosses my path and with whom I collaborate for their evolution, in any way. I also thank you for everyone who teaches me something, after all, life is a constant exchange: a coming and going, an arriving and departing. We're just passing through, with a short or long stay.
The meaning of life lies in basing it on values we believe in and strengthening them, day after day. When we create a chain of good, the Universe conspires in our favor - this is real.
For the unbelievers, think of quantum physics, of energy. Every thought, every emotion emanates a certain energy, positive or negative, more or less strong. Everything has energy: a prayer, a song, a speech, a look, a thought, a hug, a wish.
How many times did you wish for something and when you had forgotten it, it happened? This is the answer to the energy that emanated into the universe! So be grateful for every detail that makes up your life.
Returning to the thanks jar, it works like this: every day, put a paper with three thanks for the day, on any topic, just be something that brought you growth that day. At first it may seem difficult, but as a new habit is acquired with 21 days of repetition, it later becomes natural and pleasant to do so.
At the end of a year, read all or at least some of these papers and notice how many blessings you have received over the course of a year. For the laziest, a message: don't forget to do this exercise, even if it's once a week. At the end of a year, you will see that there is always so much to be thankful for.
And more: don't miss the opportunity to thank the people around you, looking them in the eye and giving them a hug or a sincere handshake of gratitude. The good that you believe you are doing for others, you are actually doing for yourselves.
For my part, among all that I am grateful for, is also the opportunity to share my point of view with all those who read my articles. I sincerely hope that they can add something good to each of your lives, as certain readings do to my life.
Happiness and gratitude!
