Students completing their course will be able to use the license for six months for Course Completion Work (TCC)
Genexus, a leading low-code platform that simplifies software development and evolution through automation, announces support for Information Technology students and related courses with the help of a free six-month license for its tool for completion of course work (TCC).
In addition to accessing GeneXus 17, the student will also have a channel for support and questions, as well as free mentoring in the tool, at the end of which they will receive a voucher for the junior certification test. To receive the license, the student must be in the course completion phase and intend to complete the TCC with the low-code tool. The request must be sent to the email ipalmeira@genexus.com along with information about the course, TCC topic, advisor and contacts.
GeneXus is already carrying out the action at its headquarters in Portugal and has students using the tool. In addition, it is part of the company's scope of action to foster partnerships in the academic sector to expand the workforce in the area, not to mention initiatives in the channels themselves, such as free training and webinars with experts.
For Ricardo Recchi, country manager responsible for operations in Brazil, Portugal and Cape Verde, the promotion of specialized labor in the sector is no longer the responsibility of universities alone, given the shortage of trained professionals in the sector.
“Together, universities, society and organizations have a mission to become the actors to eradicate this gap in the sector. Low-code technology is one of the most demanded skills by current technological developments because it offers agility to build products and services that are constantly changing, as well as being a disruptive professional skill for students who are looking for opportunities and standing out in the job market. ”, concludes Recchi.
