In addition to flexibility, the company also promotes debates on active parenthood

Accompanying a movement in society where the father's presence is increasingly active, Serasa Experian has promoted spaces for debate and a flexible working day (schedule windows that allow the employee to start his day between 7:00 and 10:00 in the morning and leave between 4 pm and 7 pm) and hybrid and remote models so that they can participate more in their children's routine. According to an internal satisfaction survey, 90% of the company's parents believe that flexible working hours are important to keep up with their children's development and daily demands.

When little Flora was born two years ago, Corporate Responsibility Executive Manager Roger Cruz was looking for a way to better balance his professional life and parenthood. That was when the opportunity to join the Serasa Experian team arose. At that moment, he understood that this could be the environment that would offer the welcome he was looking for. “When the proposal came, I was with it. I realized it was the right time. And since then, people have known that in addition to my commitment to the company, I have my schedule with Flora. I have time to bathe her, have lunch with her and be present. It is very healthy to be able to balance personal and professional demands. And the company knows that healthy and happy employees work better.”

In addition to the flexible working hours, the company's occupational health and well-being area promotes regular meetings between parents. These are workshops with a profile similar to that of a happy hour where paternity can be debated without taboos. “It's a very cool moment, because we were able to talk about what the parenting process is like for each one of us and find out how other people go through similar situations. This helps a lot. It's a kind of support network”, highlights Roger, who is a confirmed presence at the meetings.

According to the Director of Human Resources at Serasa Experian, Mayara Gomes, it is very important for companies to take a closer look at the needs of parents. “When we think of an inclusive environment, we must have a global vision. This new father profile is a reality and Serasa Experian wants to welcome all fathers, as well as their choices and lifestyles. Being able to contribute to this culture change is very important and valuable. The transformation happens little by little and knowing that we are doing our part as a company is incredible”.
