In the country, which is the fourth that invests most in IT in the LA, CLM will follow the strategy adopted in its other subsidiaries: incessant search for the most advanced technologies, personal relationship and open door policy
CLM, Latin American value-added distributor, focusing on cybersecurity, data protection, cloud and data center infrastructure, opens a branch in Chile. This is the fifth subsidiary of the Brazilian multinational, which already has a presence in Brazil, the United States, Colombia and Peru. The opening of the Chilean subsidiary, in addition to complementing the distributor's network, is due to the promising perspectives of the country, which is the fourth in IT investments in Latin America, according to IDC research – International Data Corporation.

Francisco Camargo
CLM's CEO, Francisco Camargo, explains that, in Chile, VAD will follow the same successful strategy that it has put into practice throughout the group: offering the best technology combined with personal relationships. “Our success is due to the relentless search for the best and most advanced technologies in Data Protection, Cybersecurity, Cloud and Advanced Infrastructure for data centers. In addition, we have implemented an open-door policy, which allows any reseller or customer to speak immediately with management in any country,” says Camargo.
CLM distributes solutions from more than 30 suppliers to more than 500 channels in Latin America and focuses on technical pre-sales, channel and customer training, and consultative sales.
Female leadership in the new branch
Marilia Ferreira, an IT professional with extensive experience in resellers and distribution, will lead the Chilean expansion. The executive explains that the Chilean market needed to have a company with CLM's credentials and its expertise in cutting-edge technologies, which should open up numerous business opportunities in various segments. “The current scenario of cyber-attacks and migration to the cloud also favors the growth and consolidation of CLM in Chile”, notes
