Citrix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTXS), a global leader in delivering digital applications and workspaces, today announced the appointment of Juan Manuel Gómez as Vice President, Latin America and the Caribbean. In his role, Gomez will oversee sales, marketing, service and operations in the Latin American and Caribbean markets.

Juan Manuel Gómez has been with Citrix for 14 years and has extensive experience in the technology industry and team leadership. During this period, he held several positions, including leading sales teams for the South of Latin America as regional director. He was responsible in Latin America for leading the development of the virtualization, security and mobility business and its transformation to cloud services, as director of sales for workspace solutions.
Prior to his career at Citrix, Gómez was marketing director at Deprisa/Avianca. He was also responsible for the marketing and sales areas at companies such as Kimberly – Clark, L'Oreal and Unilever.
