Brasoftware, one of the main technology providers in the market, has just released the results achieved in 2020. Even in a challenging period, with an unstable economy, guided by the Covid-19 pandemic, the company remained against the grain and celebrates the closure of the year with a turnover of R$ 1.9 billion, an increase of 34% compared to 2019.

Growth occurs just when many organizations needed more technology to adapt to the new reality. “Companies that did not use or had few cloud applications and solutions, for example, had to adapt and recreate their business and service models, and the cloud was the fastest, safest and most accessible way”, points out Eduardo Fouad Sukarie, director of Brasoftware.

Sukarie reveals that the exponential increase in demand was totally related to the pandemic: “Since March, the consumption of cloud solutions has grown by more than 30% per month. Project with communication platforms grew more than 175%, as is the case of Microsoft Teams where we implemented in less than 4 months more than one million users, a record amount. In addition, we saw a high demand for cybersecurity-related solutions - a move leveraged by the LGPD, which came into effect in September, and companies' concerns about increasingly protecting their customers' and employees' data, which in many cases began working 100% remote. In addition, we had a growth in projects focused on digital signature of documents, such as Adobe Sign, which facilitate the management and governance of organizations, which started to solve everything remotely ”, details the executive.

To meet these demands, Brasoftware expanded its technical teams by more than 20%, and needed to transform the service to be even closer and available to its customers: “We developed a series of activities that brought us even closer to our partners. , employees, and especially our customers. Training trails, customized 100% workshops, lives of tips and tricks, new service channels and a technical qualification program, Brasoftware Road, were actions that helped us to stay close, ”says Eduardo.

In 2021, the company will continue to expand its technical structures and service channels, focusing on solutions that promote and expand mobility, and help to leverage the productivity of organizations of any profile and size, especially the telephony and integrated data projects. In addition, security and innovation projects based on artificial intelligence, such as Analytics and cybersecurity, and the expansion of the offer of its managed services will be available for the Brazilian market. “Our expectation is to grow by 2 digits and to overcome the 2 billion barrier for the first time, but our priority focus is to reinvent ourselves in order to remain relevant to our customers, helping in the challenge that is digital transformation”, concludes the executive.
