ABES (Brazilian Association of Software Companies), in partnership with Institute for Advanced Studies of USP (IEA/USP), promotes the launch of the book “"Technology and Innovation: Governance, Strategy, and Digital Development in Brazil"”.
The launch event, which takes place from 9am to 11am, The event will feature the debate "Digital Brazil: strategy, governance and the future of innovation," bringing together the key figures behind the work. Skyone Space, in São Paulo, with simultaneous transmission throughout the country.
The work consolidates the strategic vision of researchers from ABES Think Tank, The book features presentations by leaders from the association's board, councils, and committees, as well as invited experts. It delves into pressing issues such as... Artificial intelligence, regulation of the digital environment and technological transformation, always from the perspective of ABES's purpose: to build a Brazil More Digital and Less Unequal.
The opening of the meeting will be led by three key professionals for the initiative: Andriei Gutierrez, President of ABES and PhD in Political Science from Unicamp; Jamile Sabatini Marques, Director of Innovation, Promotion and Research at ABES and the Think Tank; and the Professor Dr. Roseli de Deus Lopes, Director of IEA/USP and full professor at Poli/USP.
“The Think Tank is a space for intellectual convergence to propose public policies based on scientific evidence, minimizing errors and maximizing social and economic impact,” highlights Andriei Gutierrez, President of ABES.
