With resources from BNDES Mais Inovação, the company will also incorporate robotic automation techniques and hire 61 new professionals.

The Brazilian National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) has approved R$27.5 million in financing for Benner to modernize its management systems. The loan, funded by the BNDES Mais Inovação program, covers the total investment in the project, which, in addition to incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) and automation techniques such as robotic process automation (RPA), includes the hiring of 61 new qualified professionals for research and development (R&D).
Benner develops ERP management systems for various sectors, with a focus on healthcare, human resources, logistics, legal processes, and tourism. The BNDES funding will allow the company to increase its scalability through the use of multi-platform technology, as well as improve product performance through the use of AI.
Benner has reinforced its modernization agenda by creating a Directorate of Innovation and Technology, led by José Guilherme Merchiori, which will concentrate on technology, products, and data. The new structure accelerates initiatives in artificial intelligence, automation, and architectural review, strengthening the technological base necessary to support the company's expansion in the coming years. Furthermore, the project combines the R$27.5 million financed by BNDES with approximately an additional R$23 million from Benner itself, totaling more than R$50 million allocated to the modernization and innovation agenda.
“The project "This aligns with the objectives of the New Industry Brazil and the National Innovation Policy, and contributes to the digitalization of services in strategic sectors," stated the president of BNDES, Aloizio Mercadante. "BNDES's actions go hand in hand with President Lula's government's industrial policy of strengthening SMEs and developing national technology. In the first half of this year alone, the Bank has already approved R$88.8 billion in credit and guarantees for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, an amount greater than that approved in 2024."”
Company profile – Founded in 1997 in Blumenau (SC), and currently headquartered in São Paulo, Benner has accumulated more than 1 million users and 5,000 implemented systems. Currently, it has almost a thousand clients and employs 1,600 people, half of whom are women.
