Carried out in partnership with Gama Academy, those selected for the Tech Academy project may be hired by the Brazil grant
Aiming to increase the number of people with disabilities who work in the technology areas, B3, the Bolsa do Brasil, in partnership with Gama Academy, a school that trains professionals for the digital market, will select and train 40 people with disabilities (PCD) in Java Backend.
To apply for a vacancy, it is necessary to register and attach the medical report describing the disability, be graduated or be in the last year of graduation (bachelor or technologist) in exact areas and/or IT and have basic knowledge in programming languages . Classes are online and may receive people from all over Brazil.
“Ten of the 40 people trained may be hired to work at the stock exchange. More than 40% of the B3 team work in areas related to technology and therefore it is extremely important for us to train more and more people in this area”, says Rebeca Andreosi, People Superintendent at B3.
As the main infrastructure of the financial market in Brazil and one of the largest stock exchanges in the world, B3 offers the entire technological platform for the variable income, fixed income and derivatives markets to operate in the country. In addition, it operates in adjacent business segments such as registering insurance policies and contracts and managing the liens of all financed vehicles in the country, which equally use a robust technological base to operate.
To compete for job openings at B3 it is important that the candidate resides in the metropolitan region of the cities of São Paulo or Campinas.
In addition to the multidisciplinary content, those selected will also have technical and behavioral training, known as Soft Skills. “Companies today are looking for increasingly more qualified professionals not only in theoretical knowledge, but also in essential behavioral skills, such as proactivity, teamwork and empathy. Skills that seem less obvious, but decisive in selection processes”, says Guilherme Junqueira, CEO of Gama Academy.
Classes take place between 10/25 and 11/26. Enrollment runs until 10/17 and can be done through the website. https://b3tech.corporate.gama.academy/, where other information about the program is also available.
