New technologies, management, innovation and human resources are some of the themes of the 3rd Meeting of Registration Authorities, which will take place on August 24th in São Paulo.

Registration Authorities of the Brazilian Public Key Infrastructure (ICP-Brasil) will meet on the 24th of August, in the auditorium of Colégio Maria Imaculada, in São Paulo, for the 3rd Meeting of Registration Authorities of Brazil – Encontr[AR], face-to-face event that will bring together specialists in management, innovation, technology and human resources. The event has institutional support from ABES.
The meeting will feature the panel “New technologies, innovation and disruption”, where the journalist specialized in technology Thássius Veloso will present the technological innovations that could impact the management of companies and customers, generating new business opportunities. The panel will have the participation of the executive president of the Association of Registration Authorities of Brazil (AARB), Edmar Araujo, and the publicist and CCO (Chief Communications Office) of Portal CryptoID, Regina Tupinambá.

The event will also present the themes “How can Registration Authorities deliver value?”, with the co-founder of the Brazilian Institute of Digital Transformation – IBTD, Miguel Feyo and “How to motivate teams and help employees return to face-to-face work”, with the professor and specialist consultant in Human Performance Management, Jaqueline Arruda.
For the president of AARB, the organizer of the event, the time has come to reopen the circuit of face-to-face events and gather the market around its interests. “The day of the 3rd EncontrAR, August 24, was chosen due to the date of edition of the last version of Provisional Measure 2.200-2, August 24, 2001, maximum legislation of digital certification ICP-Brasil”, explains Edmar Araujo.
Registration Authorities
Link between the user and the certifying authority - CA, the Registration Authorities are public or private entities that have the function of identifying and registering users for the issuance of digital certificates. According to the National Institute of Information Technology (ITI), more than 7 million digital certificates in the Brazilian Public Key Infrastructure (ICP-Brasil) standard were issued in 2021, a growth of 10.2% compared to 2020.
