The National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) makes public the schedule of technical meetings that take place within the scope of the regulatory process of the impact report on the protection of personal data. The matter is provided for in item 7 of the ANPD's Biannual Regulatory Agenda, under the terms of Ordinance No. 11, of January 27, 2021.

The technical meetings will take place on June 21, 23 and 25, 2021, at 10 am, and will be public and broadcast on the ANPD YouTube channel, with no prior registration required to watch.

On May 25, the ANPD opened registration so that interested parties could contribute to the regulatory process and participate in technical meetings as exhibitors. A total of 543 applications were received within the deadline, and 12 names were selected, considering practical experience in data protection, experience with data protection impact reporting and academic training or production.

BLOCK 1 - Methodologies and Criteria for Preparation and Analysis of the Impact Report

BLOCK 2 - Situations/circumstances that give rise to the need or waiver of preparing an Impact Report

BLOCK 3 - Transparency and publicity of Impact Reports for the public and private sectors

It is noteworthy that the ANPD intends to organize other meetings of this nature throughout the regulatory agenda items regulation processes and that public consultation and public hearing on the impact report on the protection of personal data will still be organized.

Exhibitors will have 15 minutes to present on topics previously established by the ANPD, and after the 4 exhibitions on each day, a debate will be held with ANPD employees.
