The meeting aims to bring together specialists, entities, companies and governments engaged that present the best practices for the development of cities. “In order to have a good development of cities, it is very important that the ESG is debated. Thus, we are looking for alternatives and best practices for growth that brings benefits to everyone, companies and the population. And for ABES, this theme is directly linked to its purpose of contributing to the construction of a more digital and less unequal Brazil, in which information technology plays a fundamental role in the democratization of knowledge and the creation of new opportunities for all, in an inclusive and equitable way”, affirms Jamile.

Recently, ABES launched the "Mobilization for the Reduction of Inequality" with the objective of reducing the impact on the environment through the proper disposal of IT equipment, and using the resources obtained in this process, to invest in projects for sociodigital inclusion, aligned with the best ESG practices and the 8 Social Development Goals of the Global Compact. The mobilization has a partnership with ReUrbi and the Third Sector Observatory, and with the support of Weber Shandwick.

Companies can choose social projects around their headquarters, and depending on the volume, the equipment can be removed free of charge.
