ISO 27701:2019 is highly recommended for companies that process data, as it defines requirements for the establishment, implementation, maintenance and improvement of the Information Privacy Management System (IPMS). The standard is applicable to organizations of all types and sizes, including public, private and non-profit entities, ensuring the adoption of appropriate personal data protection practices and compliance with regulations such as the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
To obtain certification, Zetra demonstrated documentary, procedural and tool evidence that guarantees compliance in data processing, an essential step to strengthen relationships with stakeholders and conduct business with confidence.
In addition to the recent certification, the fintech already has other important credentials such as ISO/IEC 27001, which establishes an information security management system; ISO 9001, which guides the implementation of a quality management system; and ISO 37001, which deals with ethics and anti-bribery.
