Five companies presented their cutting-edge solutions in the category\u00a0smart cities<\/b>\u00a0during the\u00a0Pitch Challenge ABES CSC 2025<\/b>, held on the day\u00a0September 24, 2025<\/b>, at the event\u00a0CSC City<\/b>, in S\u00e3o Paulo. This pitch is an initiative of ABES in partnership with Connected Smart City. The innovations demonstrated the potential of technology to optimize urban management, from pavement maintenance to waste management and spatial planning.<\/p>\n
The proposals were evaluated by a specialized panel, composed of\u00a0Adriano Pitoli<\/b>\u00a0(Co-head of KPTL GovTech Fund);\u00a0Alexandre Tauvy<\/b>\u00a0(Business Transformation Manager at ABGI);\u00a0Caio Marinelli<\/b>\u00a0(Director of Regional and Territorial Development of the Secretariat of Development of the State of S\u00e3o Paulo);\u00a0Marcos Regueira<\/b>\u00a0(Special Projects Manager at Sebrae\/SC),\u00a0Leonardo Peters (<\/b>Innovation and New Business Manager at Unifique) and\u00a0Luis Felipe Maciel de Souza<\/b>\u00a0(Manager of the Agribusiness and Biofuels Department at Finep).<\/p>\n

Angelo Zanini<\/b>, Founder and manager of Intelicity, presented a\u00a0urban management platform<\/b>\u00a0that uses\u00a0computer vision<\/b>,\u00a0artificial intelligence<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0IoT sensors<\/b>\u00a0embedded in vehicles. The solution is capable of\u00a0continuously map, monitor and evaluate the city's infrastructure<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 including pavement, lighting, drainage, and signage. The data is processed and georeferenced in\u00a0real time<\/b>, being presented in\u00a0dashboards<\/i>\u00a0interactive. The big difference is the replacement of manual inspections by a\u00a0high-precision automated system<\/b>, enabling faster, smarter decisions and direct integration into urban planning and maintenance routines.<\/p>\n

Realixo, represented by the CEO\u00a0Andrea M. Lehner<\/b>, highlighted his performance in the complete cycle of\u00a0circular economy<\/b>. The company offers\u00a0selective collection<\/b>\u00a0and sustainable disposal of waste,\u00a0waste management<\/b>\u00a0in events and the creation of\u00a0compost yards<\/b>Its focus is transforming organic waste into fertilizer for urban gardens and allocating recyclables to cooperatives, strengthening the circular economy. The company is developing a\u00a0digital platform<\/b>\u00a0suitable for connecting generators, transporters and recyclers, functioning as a\u00a0\u201cUber of the circular economy\u201d<\/b>, aiming to scale operations with transparency and efficiency. Furthermore, it invests in educating customers on proper waste handling.<\/p>\n

The platform transforms scattered data into clear information, allowing\u00a0scenario simulation<\/b>\u00a0and the identification of investment opportunities. Modules such as\u00a0Urban Consultation<\/b>\u00a0(interpretation of master plan rules) and the\u00a0Chat Place AI<\/b>\u00a0(virtual assistant for regulatory queries) simplify complex processes, driving smarter, more human cities.<\/p>\n

Retech offers a\u00a0intelligent system for integrated management<\/b>, which covers everything from registering generators and waste to scheduling collections, issuing packing slips, documenting evidence, and ESG reporting. The technology aims to ensure\u00a0legal compliance<\/b>\u00a0and the\u00a0traceability<\/b>\u00a0in the disposal and final destination process, connecting the complete cycle that includes digital management, services\u00a0onsite<\/i>\u00a0and collection and separation logistics. The goal is to bring transparency and efficiency to a critical urban infrastructure process.<\/p>\n
