Coordinated by the Ministry of Economy, Brasil Mais will be managed by the Brazilian Agency for Industrial Development (ABDI) and executed by the <a href=\"http:\/\/1-\thttp:\/\/www.portaldaindustria.com.br\/senai\/\">National Service for Industrial Learning (SENAI)<\/a>&nbsp; and by the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Service (Sebrae).<\/p>\n<p>\tBrasil Mais aims to increase the efficiency of companies and increase the productivity of the productive sector and the country&#039;s competitiveness, in a journey of digital transformation. The goal is to serve 200,000 micro, small and medium enterprises in industry, commerce and services throughout the national territory, by 2022. The program brings together low-cost methodologies and tools aimed at improving management and production capacity, to reduce waste and improve processes, in a scenario of digital transformation.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u201cBrasil Mais has as its main objective to support companies in the industry, commerce and services, from all over the national territory, so that they can obtain productivity gains and become more competitive\u201d, said the president of <a href=\"http:\/\/2-\thttp:\/\/www.portaldaindustria.com.br\/cni\/\">National Confederation of Industry (CNI)<\/a>, Robson Braga de Andrade. \u201cWe believe that the program will stimulate the increase in investments necessary for the much-desired resumption of the country&#039;s economic and social development, enabling the generation of more and better jobs for Brazilians.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\tThe Special Secretary for Productivity, Employment and Competitiveness of the Ministry of Economy, Carlos Da Costa, stated that \u201cthe Brasil Mais program was designed, in partnership and using the experience and structure of SENAI, Sebrae and ABDI, to promote a major transformation in the Brazilian productive fabric, based on the development of the most critical managerial capacities for productivity gains\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>EVALUATION<\/strong> \u2013 To participate in the program, companies must register through the portal <a href=\"https:\/\/brasilmais.economia.gov.br\">gov.br\/brasilmais<\/a>, answer a questionnaire to assess the degree of maturity, productivity and management. After this stage, the company will be forwarded to assisted service by one of Brasil Mais&#039; partners: Sebrae or SENAI.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u201cBy promoting the improvement of production and management processes, Brasil Mais will contribute to starting the journey of digital transformation of the productive sector, favoring the increase in productivity of companies and the competitiveness of the country\u201d, said the president of ABDI, Igor Calvet . ABDI&#039;s mission will be to manage the program&#039;s platform and perform data management, \u201cwhich will contribute to the monitoring of the program&#039;s results and the formulation of future actions aimed at micro, small and medium-sized companies\u201d, according to Calvet.<\/p>\n<p>\tAccording to the president of Sebrae, Carlos Melles, \u201cthe increase in Brazilian productivity necessarily involves micro and small companies, which represent 99% of the country&#039;s businesses. We believe that Brasil Mais will be the gateway to disseminating managerial improvements and technological innovations in order to increase the share of small businesses in GDP, from 27% to 40% in the next decade\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>HUB<\/strong> \u2013 Strategic partners of the initiative, SENAI and Sebrae, will be responsible for assisting companies and applying the methodologies, divided into two axes: Best Production Practices (SENAI) and Best Management Practices (Sebrae).<\/p>\n<p>\tSENAI will contribute to the improvement of productive processes of industrial customers. The institution will serve establishments ranging from 11 to 499 employees. It will carry out professional training, promoting collective learning in groups of six to eight companies, and will conduct consulting services specialized in practices and technologies that enhance production results, based on lean manufacturing methodologies. There will be 1,300 consultants operating throughout the national territory, in addition to teachers and tutors of training courses, online and in person, and support teams.<\/p>\n<p>\tSebrae will serve micro and small companies, primarily in commerce and services. The agency will offer technical guidance and individual consultations, so that clients can improve management skills and practices. After an in-depth diagnosis of the firm&#039;s management, a customized action plan will be designed, including a package of consultancy services specialized in management and innovation for each company assisted by Brasil Mais. The partner will provide 1,100 Local Innovation Agents (ALI) in partnership with CNPq, who will be responsible for monitoring companies individually, in addition to hundreds of consultants who will provide specialized services. Micro and small companies that opt for this axis must have gross revenue of up to R$ 4.8 million.<\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>PHASES<\/strong> \u2013 The first stage of this journey of the Brasil Mais program is optimization. The objective is for the companies served to be able to reduce waste, increase productivity and improve processes and costs. From the intervention, it is expected that companies adopt a management based on indicators and, thus, improve their positioning in the market and increase their sales. To this end, the initiative will train customers and provide local innovation agents who will provide technical support and help entrepreneurs choose the best production and management practices.<\/p>\n<p>\tNamed digital transformation, the second stage aims to support companies, to improve production and management processes from the adoption of digital technologies appropriate to the reality of the projects. Finally, for companies that have advanced maturity, the program provides for a third phase dedicated to accelerating the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies. For this last phase, in 2020, pilot projects will be carried out with the objective of testing the proposed methodology. After the validation of this process, the method will be applied in a larger number of companies.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe initiative will offer, in addition to assistance and guidance, digital content composed of Manuals of Best Production and Management Practices, podcasts, e-books, access to links to training courses and even self-diagnosis tools, which help managers to understand the maturity of companies according to a mode of production, management and adoption of digital tools.<\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>SERVICES<\/strong> \u2013 Brasil Mais will serve industry, commerce and services. The part of the assisted services of the companies should last from three to six months. Strategic partners will fund the program together with the companies. In phase 1 of the Best Productive Practices axis, companies will pay a fee of R$ 2.4 thousand, which is the cost of 16 hours of individual consulting. In the digitalization phase, the companies will pay R$ 6 thousand, corresponding to 40 hours of consultancy offered by SENAI, plus the costs of sensors and the online monitoring system, to be defined. In the area of Best Management Practices, the service provided by Sebrae will have around R$ 1,200 as a counterpart to the companies, which may vary according to the type of consultancy required for each company.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe objective is that, with the improvement of the management and production processes, the companies served will recover the amount invested in a few months.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe Brasil Mais program will run until December 2022. The results of the project and its benefits will continue to produce benefits for the companies served.
