\n\tExporta SP will qualify 150 companies in 2020, with a goal of reaching 1,200 by 2023; startups and the service sector are targets of the project<\/p>\n

\tGovernor Jo\u00e3o Doria launched last Thursday (30) the Exporta SP \u2013 S\u00e3o Paulo Export Training Program, which will prepare micro, small and medium-sized companies to access the international market. Rodolfo F\u00fccher, president of ABES was present at the launch event.<\/p>\n

\tThe project's goal is to qualify 150 companies this year and reach 1,200 by 2023, causing a greater number of companies to export products from S\u00e3o Paulo. The program is coordinated by the Secretariat for Economic Development in partnership with InvestSP.<\/p>\n

\t\u201cThe results we obtained throughout 2019 validate all the effort we are making now in 2020. Last year, there were still expectations about the performance of S\u00e3o Paulo's economy. And, at the end of 2019, we went from expectation to certainty. The IPEA data show that the economy of S\u00e3o Paulo grew more than two and a half times that of the country\u201d, commented Governor Jo\u00e3o Doria.<\/p>\n

\t\u201cA liberal view of government, clear public policies, programs for capitation of foreign investments, economic development with correct policies, tax relief without fiscal war\u201d, listed Doria about measures taken in this administration.<\/p>\n

\tExporta SP will be the largest training program for exports ever carried out in the State, including for the first time startups and the service sector in its scope of action. Micro, small and medium-sized companies that do not yet export or that already operate in international trade and want to expand their markets will be able to participate.<\/p>\n

\t\u201cThis program is a means for economic growth to become a priority in S\u00e3o Paulo. Of the companies that currently export in Brazil, 45% of them are from S\u00e3o Paulo. And we have the potential for much more, 63% of the municipalities in S\u00e3o Paulo are registered for export, however the export volume is concentrated in 10% of the municipalities\u201d, commented Patricia Ellen, Secretary of Economic Development. \u201cWe are committed to boosting high quality exports and making S\u00e3o Paulo a gateway to Latin America and the world\u201d.<\/p>\n

\tS\u00e3o Paulo currently has 10,000 companies that already maintain some type of commercial relationship with other countries, of which 98% are micro, small and medium-sized companies. 18% of them cease activities after the first year. The Program will train these companies to export, increasing competitiveness, aiming to reduce the mortality rate.<\/p>\n

\t\u201cThis initiative by the State of SP, launching the Exporta SP program today, is of fundamental importance. The machinery and equipment sector is the manufacturing sector that exports the most in Brazil, 60% of production is in the State of SP. We export to many countries, are small and medium-sized companies exporting 40% of the billing of machinery and equipment. It is a great initiative to improve employment and income in the State of S\u00e3o Paulo\u201d, said the Executive President of Abimaq, Jos\u00e9 Velloso.<\/p>\n

\tOperation<\/strong><\/p>\n

\tThe new program provides for the decentralization of the State's export services, which are still very much concentrated in the capital. The training will last 5 months per class and will address topics that most challenge entrepreneurs in the process of internationalizing products and services. Content on commercial intelligence, pricing, product and service adequacy, business plans, marketing and sales will be taught by specialists from Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Instituto de Administra\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

\tTo participate, companies will need to register on the InvestSP website and go through a selection process that will assess the current stage of access to the foreign market. Afterwards, the company will receive a visit from a consultant who will prepare it to complete all the training stages.<\/p>\n

\tThroughout the project, the entrepreneur will have face-to-face classes and access to the online content platform called AVA (Virtual Classroom Environment), which uses the Canvas model, the most used tool for business planning today. Regional workshops will also be held, which will help participants to build a network of contacts with entrepreneurs seeking to enter the international market.<\/p>\n

\t\u201cThe textile apparel sector in the State of SP represents 500 thousand direct jobs generated in SP, it is a third of the jobs in all of Brazil. The Exporta SP program complements the need to reach small and medium-sized companies by promoting exports of our products that do not lose in quality to any country in the world. Congratulations to the Government of the State of SP, to Governor Jo\u00e3o Doria and all his team for this important initiative\u201d, highlighted the president of Sindit\u00eaxtil-SP, Luiz Arthur Pacheco.<\/p>\n

\tAfter training, companies will continue to be monitored by InvestSP. The follow-up phase will last for two years. During this period, semi-annual diagnoses will be carried out to verify if the action plan developed during the training is being implemented correctly. Another advantage for companies is maintaining access to InvestSP partners, who facilitate the contact of entrepreneurs with buyers from other countries.<\/p><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
