To meet this expansion, TIVIT announces the opening of its new Cybersecurity Operations Center (SOC), located in S\u00e3o Paulo. With an investment of approximately R$1.4 billion, the initiative aims to meet the strong demand, in addition to providing a robust and constantly updated structure to provide the necessary protection to its customers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Over the past three years, TIVIT's cybersecurity revenue has multiplied 8.3 times, driven by customers' demand for an integrated service platform that allows them to have a single point of contact, in addition to complete visibility of the coverage and protection that the management process requires. According to a survey by Check Point Research, Brazil recorded a 95% increase in cyberattacks on organizations in the third quarter of 2024, compared to the same period in 2023. There were 2,766 weekly attacks in 2024, compared to 747 in the previous year.<\/p>\n This increase is considered worrying by\u00a0Thiago Tanaka<\/strong>,\u00a0Cybersecurity Director at TIVIT<\/strong>. \u201cThe launch of this new SOC represents a crucial step towards consolidating a robust and homogeneous network of cybersecurity services in Brazil, in addition to adding another layer of protection to our customers.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWith the increasing complexity and aggressiveness of cyberattacks, it has become necessary to establish multiple contracts with detection and defense tools. TIVIT, on a single, integrated platform operating in its SOC, makes it easier for the client to monitor the process of managing defense mechanisms for attacks, both in the administrative part and in monitoring the effectiveness of defense and response through dashboards at the frequency our client requires. Another determining factor is the fact that TIVIT is a strong provider of multiple cloud platforms, which always helps in the event of a cyberattack, in which detection needs to be immediate, as well as efficient migration to protected bases, isolating and neutralizing the attacked environments\u201d, he adds.\u00a0Paulo Freitas, CEO of TIVIT\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n Additionally, the company now offers a complete portfolio of services in the new SOC, including penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities, secure software development, risk management, compliance with data protection legislation, security policy consulting, identity services, incident response, forensic analysis, among others.<\/p>\n Tanaka explains that TIVIT\u2019s cybersecurity strategy is supported by three main pillars: prevention, detection and response. \u201cThese fronts direct our actions to strengthen the company\u2019s cybersecurity posture, protect our customers and prepare us to effectively face emerging threats.\u201d<\/p>\n The new center in Brazil has trained cloud and cybersecurity specialists and is expected to serve more than 500 clients, offering advanced tools that ensure integration and application of the best practices in the sector. The operation will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, ensuring continuous protection for companies.<\/p>\n TIVIT Defense\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The SOC will be operated together with TIVIT Defense, the first integrated cybersecurity solutions platform on the market, recently developed by the company.
