The initial goal was to train at least 2,575 individuals. Of this total number of graduates, 1,300 students also earned the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, which validates knowledge about the cloud and is the gateway to getting a job in the field.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very happy to have achieved this goal proposed by AWS, which has been our partner for over two years. I truly believe in the transformative power of the cloud, education and social impact, so I am very grateful that we were able to positively impact the lives of so many people. And now, we are going to do more, evolving and improving our deliverables so that our students can prepare for the job market in Technology,\u201d says Ana Let\u00edcia Lucca, CRO of Escola da Nuvem.<\/p>\n<p>AWS re\/Start is a hands-on course that provides students with basic skills in Linux, Python, networking, security, databases, automation, and AWS cloud skills. In addition to technical knowledge, students also receive training to develop soft skills for the job market, such as improving communication and collaboration within the company. Students also learn how to write resumes and prepare for and conduct themselves in a job interview. No prior experience or experience in the technology market is required to take the course.<\/p>\n<p>One of the distinguishing features of Escola da Nuvem is that, in addition to offering courses, the NGO also refers trained and certified individuals to job openings through partner companies. One example is e-Core, which hires people with disabilities exclusively through Escola da Nuvem. Furthermore, after being employed, new employees are monitored for a year by the social organization with the aim of accelerating their adaptation to the new reality of the corporate and technology world.<\/p>\n<p>By 2025, Escola da Nuvem\u2019s goal is to further refine its search for underrepresented individuals in its courses, such as women, non-white people, people with disabilities, and members of the LGBTQIAPN+ community. In addition, one of the goals is to expand the technical knowledge base of the courses, incorporating knowledge about artificial intelligence into the training program and expanding the content path, in addition to strengthening training in professional skills.
