As part of this moment, the company completed the process of migrating data from SAP environments to Amazon Web Services (AWS), one of the largest cloud platforms in the world.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
The transfer, which involved approximately 38 terabytes of data, was conducted and completed in two months by TIVIT, a Brazilian multinational that accelerates business through technology. The volume of data transferred is equivalent to the storage capacity of more than 2,300 tablets of the most basic models.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
Cost optimization and scalability in line with Wilson Sons' growth are the main benefits of the migration carried out by TIVIT, as the SAP system, when hosted in the cloud, can be accessed remotely, without depending on the physical location in on-premise environments. from the company. The development, approval and production environments were also migrated to the Amazon service. In addition to SAP, TIVIT was also responsible for updating the database and transferring the Oracle platform to AWS.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
