Veltec is headquartered in Londrina, in the State of Paran\u00e1. The acquisition of Veltec further extends Trimble&#039;s fleet safety and efficiency solutions to new global markets. Financial information about the acquisition was not disclosed.<br \/>\n\t&nbsp;<br \/>\n\t&quot;Veltec has established itself as a leading and innovative company in providing solutions to maximize safety and performance,&quot; said Thomas Fansler, president of Trimble&#039;s Transport and Mobility division. &quot;With this acquisition, Trimble can cooperate in delivering new technologies to all of our customers, furthering our vision of improving transportation and logistics around the world.&quot;<br \/>\n\t&nbsp;<br \/>\n\tVeltec&#039;s fleet mobility platform consists of a combination of in-vehicle devices and back office software to provide greater visibility into driver and fleet performance.
