The courses are online, free and focus on topics such as employability, digital literacy and collaboration tools with chats<\/i><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Technology training program, with the Microsoft seal of excellence. This is the newest initiative of the National School of Public Administration (Enap), carried out thanks to a partnership signed with the North American multinational. 13 new courses will be offered in\u00a0Virtual School of Government (EV.G)<\/a>\u00a0and the training days are free, aimed at different levels of knowledge. Topics are covered ranging from beginner concepts on how to use computers, mobile devices, text production tools, creating presentations, to collaboration tools with chats, video calls, file sharing and tips on how to get a job.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The courses will be gradually made available on the EV.G platform, according to the schedule stipulated by the partner companies (see list below<\/em>). Students interested in training will be able to access the first part of the journey starting in March, which will be about generative artificial intelligence. The project is called \u201cflu\u00eancIA\u201d and has a total of five courses. Then, the training \u201cHow to work with computers and mobile devices\u201d and \u201cHow to work and collaborate online\u201d will be released.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

From April onwards, the following will be available: \u201cFirst steps with Microsoft 365\u201d (Microsoft solution that includes applications such as Microsoft Word,\u00a0PowerPoint<\/em>t, Teams, among others) and \u201cCollaboration with Microsoft 365\u201d. In the month of May, training will be available on the platform: \u201cWork optimization with Microsoft 365\u201d; \u201cManage projects with Microsoft 365\u201d and \u201cManage data with Microsoft 365\u201d. In June, the course \u201cHow to get a new job\u201d will be available. Certificates will be available to students completing the courses, in accordance with the minimum approval requirements, at EV.G.\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very happy with this further stage of cooperation. Microsoft has been our partner for a long time and now it becomes part of this great network that is EV.G: a platform that meets not only the training needs of the public service, but of society as a whole, as Courses offered can be taken by anyone. Furthermore, when we think about a State that intends to offer digital services, it is necessary to offer ways for the population to access these services, especially in a country as unequal as Brazil\u201d, highlights the president of Enap, Bet\u00e2nia Lemos.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

EV.G is an Enap initiative that is part of the Single Government Portal, where various public services are offered to employees and citizens. On the website there is a unified course catalog from the main government schools and public administration training centers. Based on this partnership with Microsoft, the platform now includes more courses focused on technology knowledge.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The cooperation is part of the Microsoft Mais Brasil plan, launched in 2020, to address solutions and support the most urgent issues for the country's social and economic development, and encourage economic recovery. The plan is focused on four areas of action: support for inclusive economic growth; protection of fundamental rights; enable a sustainable future; and confidence in technology.\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The courses provided by Enap are part of the inclusive economic development front. In total, since Mais Brasil was launched, until August 2023, more than 7.8 million people were impacted by different Microsoft qualification or requalification initiatives and 152 thousand people were employed or relocated within six months after completing the courses.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

\u201cInvesting in Brazil's growth involves offering the population the necessary skills to navigate constantly changing scenarios, due to the evolution of technology, which impacts all sectors of society. In this action with Enap, we want to accelerate the digital training journey of public servants and provide them with the necessary knowledge so that they can interact with new tools and apply the knowledge in their daily professional lives. With this, we hope to contribute to improving the productivity of the Brazilian public service\u201d, says Lucia Rodrigues, Philanthropy leader at Microsoft.\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
