The value of land invoiced exceeded R$ 3 million. In addition, there were more than R$ 8.7 million in land reserves and R$ 1.6 million proposals under negotiation during the five days of the fair.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What helped boost the technology park&#039;s real estate sector was the launch of the second stage of the Unimed High Complexity Hospital. The hospital is expected to begin providing services in two years, with robotic surgery in five specialties. For the vice-president and director of Biopark&#039;s business area, Paulo Almeida, the health institution is an anchor of the 5 thousand m\u00b2 territory that the park occupies in Toledo (PR). \u201cWe already have UFPR with the medicine course, UTFPR with technical courses, in addition to 200 companies installed in the Biopark. We understand that this entire group increases credibility for those who want to invest and undertake business here\u201d, he states. \u201cThe results at the Rural Show were very encouraging\u201d, he adds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Seal of Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another launch was the Seal of Excellence in civil construction, with the aim of certifying the quality of products and services, as well as the adoption of good environmental practices by investors who are installing in the park. The works that have the seal meet the criteria for administration and execution of activities, governance and ethical standards, and market infrastructure. They also have projects and construction documentation validated and approved in accordance with current standards. \u201cWe strive for quality and excellence in all sectors and the seal is another guarantee that investors have of the success of their business\u201d, says Paulo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Robot battle<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_72644\" style=\"width: 333px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-72644\" class=\"wp-image-72644\" src=\"https:\/\/abes.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/BIOPARK-SHOW-RURAL-2-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"323\" height=\"242\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-72644\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Visitors tasted fine cheeses produced by small and medium-sized dairy producers with guidance from Biopark researchers Credits: Disclosure\/Biopark<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Biopark Educa\u00e7\u00e3o took some of what is produced by children and young people who participate in the Science Club. There were everything from chocolate tablets to foot baths, which were distributed to those who visited the stand, as well as a robot battle that attracted the curiosity of children and adults.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Fine Cheeses<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Those who visited the stand also tasted the fine cheeses produced by small and medium-sized dairy producers under the guidance of Biopark researchers. Today there are 19 types of cheese produced by 17 families. The idea is to create a fine cheese tourism route. During the five days of the Rural Show, more than R$ 46 thousand worth of cheeses were sold.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>About Biopark<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>The Biopark is located in Toledo, western region of Paran\u00e1, in an area of over 5 million m\u00b2. With a focus on regional development through education, research and business generation, Biopark already has more than two thousand people circulating daily in its territory. Currently, more than 180 companies already operate there, generating jobs and progress. Three federal educational institutions are located in Biopark, the Federal University of Paran\u00e1 (UFPR), the Federal Technological University of Paran\u00e1 (UTFPR) and the Federal Institute of Paran\u00e1 (IFPR).
