Desenvolvimento SP, a development agency linked to the Secretariat of Economic Development (SDE) of the Government of S\u00e3o Paulo, registered on Friday (22) the mark of R\uff04 1 billion in credit released to public agents and micro, small and medium entrepreneurs in all municipalities in S\u00e3o Paulo. The result for 2023 is 36% greater than the 12 months of 2022 (R\uff04735.7 million) and 35.8% above the disbursement for the entire year 2021, which was R\uff04736.1 million.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Consolidated data up to December 22nd also reveals that, since its creation in 2009, Desenvolvimento SP has recorded a total accumulated disbursement of R\uff047.06 billion, distributed across more than 18 thousand operations. Over these almost 15 years of operation, the agency has provided services to 1,918 companies and benefited 228 municipalities.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
The agency made resources available through 26 lines of credit, covering strategic areas such as agriculture, innovation, sustainability, machinery and equipment, working capital, in addition to the recently launched Develop Woman and Develop Sustainable Woman lines, which came into effect in March 2023.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
Also noteworthy are the growth in credit releases for city halls (289%), which jumped from R\uff04 140 million in 2022 to R\uff04 545 million this year, and in disbursements for the acquisition of machinery and equipment, which increased by 26% \u2013 from R\uff04 145 million in 2022 to R\uff04183 million in 2023.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
According to the Secretary of Economic Development of S\u00e3o Paulo, Jorge Lima, the meaning of R\uff04 1 billion in disbursements is that the State Government is fulfilling its commitment to generate jobs, income and development in the 645 municipalities of S\u00e3o Paulo. \u201cThe release of credit for entrepreneurs and municipalities helps activate the development lever in S\u00e3o Paulo, a State that demonstrates resilience and vanguardism, standing out as a center of innovation and entrepreneurship in the country\u201d, adds Jorge Lima.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
In the view of the CEO of Desenvolvimento SP, Ricardo Brito, the volume disbursed is of higher quality. \u201cCredit for city hall projects and private investment grew relatively more, facts that reinforce the commitment of Desenvolvimento SP to democratize credit to generate development, jobs and income in the state of S\u00e3o Paulo\u201d, he explains.<\/p>\n
