TOTVS, the largest technology company in Brazil, positions itself as a company that thinks about and promotes ESG. Recognized for a solid basis of governance and management of the ESG agenda, and for an important journey of evolution in the other pillars of this agenda, in 2021 the Company launched a consultancy offer to support companies in putting ESG initiatives into practice in their operations. As an advancement of this strategy and with a focus on the ambition of being an influential brand in this agenda, the Company announces investment and commercial partnership with the Brazilian startup DEEP ESG, which develops technological solutions for identifying and measuring the social and environmental impacts of organizations' activities in the most diverse and strategic segments of the economy.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
In practice, the technology captures, reads and processes company data through integration with TOTVS ERPs or other market players, monitoring accounting, financial and management KPIs related to ESG in real time, and producing calculations automatic impact assessment of GRI, ISE indexes and reporting demands such as SASB and CDP. Last year (2022), for example, the startup calculated more than 300 GHG (greenhouse gas) inventories.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
\u201cTOTVS promotes ESG because it understands that this is an agenda that grows and advances every day among Brazilian companies. The agenda is urgent, regardless of the sector of activity. When we think about the Supply Chain chain, for example, there is important work to achieve decarbonization goals. The technology comes to monitor data and support the consolidation of reports. The novelty is the result of the commercial partnership and an investment in DEEP ESG's series A through the CV iDEXO fund, from TOTVS, managed by Citrino Ventures. The round totaled R\uff0422 million and also included the participation of other investors. DEEP ESG solutions promise to maintain companies' compliance with the regulated carbon market in Brazil and will soon be the fastest and most efficient way to deal with changes. Furthermore, they are prepared to serve companies of all sizes, including small and medium-sized companies, and integrate with TOTVS ERPs and also those of other market players.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
