112 young people will receive complete training in IT and Programming and will be supported to enter the job market. The program takes place in the east zone of S\u00e3o Paulo and to the\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>registrations<\/em><\/a>\u00a0until the 4th of July<\/em><\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n

Serasa Experian, in partnership with Gerando Falc\u00f5es, is offering, throughout 2023, 860 free 100% scholarships to low-income young people, in various parts of Brazil, who want to enter the technology and data market. To the\u00a0registrations started<\/a> on, June 6th, and vacancies are reserved exclusively for young people living in favelas and who are studying or completing high school in a public institution or privately receiving a scholarship.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

For S\u00e3o Paulo, 112 teaching scholarships will be offered to young people aged 18 to 23 who live in the eastern region of the city and surrounding cities. Interested parties may apply via the website.\u00a0www.serasaexperian.com.br\/transformese<\/a>. The program will be face-to-face, taught at Senac Penha and will last 260 hours divided into two phases, covering basic computing, programming logic and systems programming. In addition, young people will have career mentoring with Serasa Experian professionals, personalized social and pedagogical support, Senac certification at the end of the course and support for entering the market. Students will receive a monthly allowance of R$ 500 for participating in the program.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The initiative is part of Serasa Experian's Transform Program, which aims to develop vulnerable people in the programming area, a sector that only grows and generates job opportunities. In addition to the east zone of S\u00e3o Paulo, this edition of the program has already covered the south zone of S\u00e3o Paulo and the city of S\u00e3o Carlos. The next classes will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Bras\u00edlia, Fortaleza, Florian\u00f3polis and Bel\u00e9m.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The executive manager of Sustainability at Serasa Experian, Paulo Gomes, comments that entering the job market is an arduous process for young people, especially for those who have not had the opportunity to receive adequate training. \u201cWe want to transform the lives of young people in the favela through education, breaking barriers to reduce inequality. We will have a complete approach, with consistent technical content, human development and differentiated attention for each individual, ensuring that they can make the most of the opportunity. In the end, these young people will be able to work in any company or technology field.\u201d<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

\u2022 There will be 344 scholarships in total, 120 for the Federal District, 112 for the East Zone of S\u00e3o Paulo and 112 for Nova Igua\u00e7u, in Rio de Janeiro. Registration will be open until July 4th and classes will start at the end of the same month.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

This is the fourth edition of the program, which has already offered 480 scholarships in total. The first edition was exclusively for women throughout Brazil, the second for low-income youth in S\u00e3o Carlos and the third, focused on people with disabilities and is in progress. In less than 6 months after the course, more than 2\/3 of the beneficiaries found employment in the area or increased income.
