The survey shows only a modest increase in concerns about cash flow, capital and fundraising.\u201d According to him, despite the impact of these\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gartner.com\/en\/newsroom\/press-releases\/2023-04-06-gartner-forecasts-worldwide-it-spending-to-grow-5-percent-in-2023\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.gartner.com\/en\/newsroom\/press-releases\/2023-04-06-gartner-forecasts-worldwide-it-spending-to-grow-5-percent-in-2023&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1685740591258000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1h8hwk4ktdVKhYZP0lzd5B\">economic headwinds<\/a>, half of CEOs cited growth as their top strategic business priority for the next two years. Gartner predicts environmental sustainability in an even higher category than technology by 2026.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-63869 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/abes.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image003-300x171.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"358\" height=\"204\" srcset=\"https:\/\/abes.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image003-300x171.png 300w, https:\/\/abes.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image003-18x10.png 18w, https:\/\/abes.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image003.png 350w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 358px) 100vw, 358px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>GRAPHIC<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Inflation drives changes in customer behavior<\/strong>: For about 22% of CEOs, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gartner.com\/en\/newsroom\/press-releases\/2022-06-28-how-cios-should-respond-to-inflation\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.gartner.com\/en\/newsroom\/press-releases\/2022-06-28-how-cios-should-respond-to-inflation&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1685740591258000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1ThU8NtrlYGpHtb7DXqKGr\">inflation<\/a>\u00a0is the biggest risk for business. Nearly a quarter of respondents anticipate increased price sensitivity this year as the biggest shift in customer expectations. However, raising prices is still the top action CEOs are taking in response to inflation (44%), followed by cost optimization (36%) and productivity, efficiency and automation (21%).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cIt&#039;s worrying that CEOs still don&#039;t seem to be focused on productivity as much as they should be in an inflationary period,\u201d says Moyer. \u201cThis may be due to the desire that inflation does not become a persistent feature of the economic landscape. They must embrace automation to redesign methods, processes and products for efficiency, rather than pushing cost increases onto customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Attracting and retaining talent is a top workforce priority<\/strong>: When asked about the impact of different risks on the business, 26% of CEOs cite a talent shortage as the most damaging issue for their organization. Attracting and retaining talent is by far the top priority for its workforce. Respondents anticipate that pay concerns are the biggest change in employee and future employee behavior, followed by a desire for greater flexibility and remote or hybrid working. \u201cThe emphasis on pay is not surprising in an inflationary environment, but in previous economic cycles, unemployment typically undermined the power of the labor market,\u201d adds Raskino.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Gartner for Information Technology Executives provides objective, actionable information for CIOs and IT leaders to help them lead their organizations through digital transformation and lead business growth.
