70% of organizations are currently exploring the possibilities of Generative Artificial Intelligence<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

O <\/span>Gartner<\/b><\/span><\/a>, <\/b><\/span>world leader in research and advice for companies,<\/span> <\/b>announces that 45% of executives surveyed for its latest global survey report increased investment in Artificial Intelligence driven by publicity generated by <\/span>ChatGPT<\/span><\/a>. The Gartner survey also highlights that 70% of leaders say their companies are exploring the possibilities of Generative Artificial Intelligence, while 19% are already in the testing or production phase.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

"O <\/span>frenzy around Generative Artificial Intelligence<\/span><\/a> shows no signs of slowing down,\u201d he said. <\/span>Frances Karamouzis<\/span>, Vice President and Analyst at Gartner. \u201cOrganizations are scrambling to determine how much money to invest in Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions, to detect which products are worth it, to identify when to start and how to mitigate the risks that come with this emerging technology.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The survey was conducted with 2,544 respondents between March and April of this year with the aim of discussing the corporate impact of ChatGPT and Generative Artificial Intelligence. The results do not represent global findings or market mapping as a whole, but provide a relevant sample.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The benefits of Generative Artificial Intelligence outweigh the risks for 68% of respondents. Only 5% of executives identify more risks than benefits, but they may change their perspective as investments deepen.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

\u201cInitial enthusiasm for a new technology can give way to a more rigorous analysis of the risks and implementation challenges,\u201d said Karamouzis. \u201cOrganizations are likely to encounter a range of <\/span>trust, risk, security, privacy and ethics<\/span><\/a> when they begin to develop and deploy Generative Artificial Intelligence\u201d.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Customer experience is the main focus of investments in Generative Artificial Intelligence. Despite the continuous winds <\/span>economic opposites<\/span><\/a>, only 17% of executives indicated cost optimization as the main objective of investments in technology. The quest to improve the customer experience is the most common main focus of investments, cited by 38% of respondents.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

As organizations begin experimenting with Generative Artificial Intelligence, many are turning to use cases such as media content enhancement or code generation. While these efforts can generate strong value-added initially, Generative Artificial Intelligence has vast potential to support solutions that enhance work done by humans or machines to run business and IT processes autonomously.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
