GUEPARDO, developed by NTT DATA Business Solutions, facilitated the delivery of documentation to the Tax Authorities and reduced the company's costs<\/i><\/p>\n

Unifying all information in the same database is essential to achieve the long-awaited\u00a0compliance<\/em>\u00a0tax of a company and, to optimize the process and prevent possible failures in operations, making use of technology is a differential.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Iochpe-Maxion, a global company and leader in the production of automotive wheels and automotive structural components, opted for the solution developed by NTT DATA Business Solutions, one of the main global technology players, and implemented GUEPARDO Tax for TDF. The process lasted five years, started in 2018 and was completed in July 2022, which allowed a 360\u00b0 view of the entire fiscal and tax operation carried out at the seven plants in Brazil.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

GUEPARDO was implemented on the TDF platform, which makes use of all the HANA processing power. The result is that the company now has information on taxable events available in real time in the calculations, analyzes and delivery of tax obligations. The dynamic enables a simultaneous connection with accounting, so that the company is able to capture accounting movements and information used as sources for tax analysis with security and accuracy.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Originally, the project was started with a smaller scope, but Iochpe-Maxion realized that the improvement and evolution of processes was a factor that would bring business expansion. This is how the company, which was in the process of implementing SAP S\/4HANA, sought out specialists from NTT DATA Business Solutions for the implementation of GUEPARDO Tax for TDF. With the implementation, Iochpe-Maxion optimized the generation and delivery of its obligations, unified the information in the same database, parameterized its tax calculations and ensured more structured internal procedures.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

\u201cGUEPARDO represents a milestone from the fiscal point of view for Iochpe-Maxion. It brought accuracy to the company's information and financial management,\u201d says Patr\u00edcia Lopes, Global Senior Tax Manager at Iochpe-Maxion.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The Business Unit Director of NTT DATA Business Solutions, Carlos Alexandre, highlights the challenge of a project of this magnitude. \u201cTDF by itself already represents a great challenge, but this was linked to the particularities of the manufacturing business niche, which is extraordinarily large, and to the particularities of the automotive sector and the customer\u201d, he reports. \u201cThis led us to look for a solution that was sufficiently intelligent and that would provide the customer with robustness, practicality and also agility in the delivery of their obligations\u201d, he concludes.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

NTT DATA Business Solutions was chosen because it has proven expertise and successful cases in the implementation of SAP projects in the segment. The management of Iochpe-Maxion also highlighted that the technical team is highly qualified and focused on the quality of delivery, which guaranteed good results.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
