\"\"SCCON Geospatial, a Brazilian geospatial technology company, received certification in the Planet Orbit Certificate Program, from Planet Labs (NYSE: PL), being the second company in the world to receive this certificate. Planet is a leading provider of global and daily satellite imagery and geospatial solutions. The newly announced program acts as a seal of approval, indicating that the Brazilian company offers robust applications and services that are ready to perform on a global scale.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

As a solutions provider, SCCON will be able to market its solutions on a global scale, and will work with Planet to develop the best strategies for international expansion using the SCCON Platform. Murilo Oliveira, Director of Product Development and Solutions at SCCON Geoespacial, explains that: \u201cThe certification is a strengthening of the brand and the SCCON Platform, and opens up new paths and opportunities for international partnerships within Planet's network. We are eager and prepared to scale our platforms and bring our products and solutions around the world. Our solution for detecting changes in vegetation cover is well established and fully scalable for other countries with tropical forests, mainly\u201d, he explains.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

According to Ricardo Sahagun, business manager at Planet LATAM, this certification is a recognition of SCCON's quality. \u201cThe SCCON platform is robust and offers many applications such as defense, forest monitoring, city growth, among others\u201d, comments Sahagun. \u201cWe are excited to see how SCCON will leverage our certification to serve a global customer base,\u201d he added.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

According to Iara Musse Felix, CEO of SCCON, \u201cour goal is to scale beyond Brazil, so that our platform provides service anywhere in the world, and with Planet certification this will become possible. Through the partnership with Planet, we will take our solutions to several countries, in order to show the ability to use daily images for the most diverse environmental, agricultural and agricultural applications, with the experience and performance that we have already developed here\u201d.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Recently, SCCON was also recognized as Planet's Partner of the Year, out of more than 100 Planet Partners. SCCON Geospatial has been in partnership with Planet since 2016, through the use of Planet's satellite images, which help to monitor deforestation, environmental degradation, fires, mining, among other processes of this type. The great differential in SCCON's solution is the Web Platform with numerous resources for analysis of the project area, including the availability of daily Planet images ready for use, within 24 hours after capture.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

With almost 200 satellites in orbit, Planet is able to revisit the entire national territory, almost daily with the high resolution sensor. This ensures complete images with the lowest levels of cloud cover and detailed monitoring of changes. SCCON's platform also provides automated analytical reporting and other information to support spatial analysis of alerts.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

\u201cTogether, SCCON and Planet can offer not only high resolution daily images, but also a remote sensing and geographic intelligence platform, where the customer is able to extract relevant data and information, improving the decision-making process, generating reducing costs, increasing productivity and improving field management.
