Are we doing this wrong?\u201d (<em>Work Trend Index \u2013 WTI Pulse report, \u201cHybrid Work Is Just Work. Are We Doing It Wrong?\u201d, in English).\u00a0<\/em>The study presents the views and behaviors in relation to the work of managers and teams around the world, and included a specific focus on Brazil. The company also announced new features for Microsoft Viva, an employee experience platform designed to help empower and engage teams in times of economic uncertainty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The survey carried out by Microsoft revealed that 2 out of every 3 Brazilians, that is 65%, stated that they would work longer in a company if they had more opportunities for internal mobility, while the global average is 68%. According to the report, generations Z and Millennials are slightly more likely to stay in their jobs if they have the opportunity, represented by 69% in Brazil, compared to 73% on the global average.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">When it comes to offering learning and development support, 81% of employees in Brazil said they would stay longer at the company if they could benefit more from this type of opportunity, above the global average of 76%. When climbing to the level of leadership and decision makers, 87% of Brazilians said that training can be a retention factor, compared to 83% of the global leadership average. In terms of mental health, 38% of Brazilian employees reported that they are experiencing burnout at work, a number below the global average of 48%. When analyzing managers, the numbers are 38% in Brazil and 53% globally.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cSuccessful employees will give organizations a competitive advantage in today&#039;s dynamic economic environment,\u201d said Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft. \u201cToday, we are announcing innovations in Microsoft Viva, our employee experience platform. The new features aim to help leaders end productivity paranoia, rebuild social capital and re-recruit and re-energize their employees.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The new Labor Trends Index Pulse Report also revealed that, in Brazil and around the world, there is a growing disconnect between leaders and employees, and different opinions when it comes to productivity and how the hybrid work experience has been. The study shows that 97% of employees in Brazil said they are more productive at work. Although in 88%&#039;s view local managers, the change to the hybrid work model brought a challenge in understanding whether people are being productive. On the global average, these data are 87% and 85%, respectively.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">When compared to the global average, Brazilians are more likely to work in person. Overall, 73% of workers and 78% of leaders reported that they need a better reason to go to the office and that company policies alone will not be enough to influence their decision to go to the office or not. In Brazil, the average is 60% and 62%, respectively.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">To help leaders navigate the new realities of work, the new Job Trends Index Pulse Report has highlighted three urgent changes that need to be made globally (global average data):<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>1- End of productivity paranoia<\/strong>: 87% of employees globally reported that they are productive at work, however, 85% of leaders globally said that the shift to hybrid work brought the challenge of understanding whether employees are being productive. Leaders need to provide more clarity and alignment on the company&#039;s goals, eliminate unnecessary work that does not support these goals and listen to their employees. Around 57% of companies are, rarely, if at all, collecting the opinion of their employees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>2- Accept that people go to the office to meet others in person:<\/strong>\u00a073% of employees, on average, globally say they need a bigger reason to go to the office beyond company expectations \u2013 but they would feel motivated to go if they could socialize with their colleagues (84% global) or rebuild team spirit (85%). In this context, digital communication will be crucial to keeping people connected inside and outside of work \u2013 both leaders and employees ranked communication as the main skill needed to be successful in their roles this year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>3- Retrain to rehire your employees:<\/strong>\u00a055% of employees globally said that the best way to develop their skills is to change companies, among Brazilians the average is 40%. However, they also said they would consider staying longer if it was easier to change positions internally (68% global) or if they had more benefits from learning and development support (76% global).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Microsoft Viva \u2013 Technology at the service of the employee experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">To address these challenges, Microsoft is expanding Microsoft Viva, its employee experience platform aimed at helping companies deliver an experience optimized for the new reality of modern work. Today, Microsoft is announcing new and improved features coming to Viva:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li><strong>Live Pulse\u00a0<\/strong>is an in-app that will allow managers and leaders to seek regular and confidential feedback on their teams&#039; experience. Viva Pulse uses smart templates and research-based questions to help managers pinpoint what&#039;s working well and where to focus. The tool also suggests learning and actions to meet the teams&#039; needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li><strong>Live Amplify\u00a0<\/strong>is a new app that will empower leaders and communicators to leverage their messages and reach their employees with consistency and impact. The application centralizes communication campaigns, offers writing guides to improve message resonance, enables publishing across multiple channels and distribution to Microsoft 365 groups, and provides metrics for improvement.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Answers in Viva\u00a0<\/strong>is a new feature that will use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to connect employee questions to answers and company experts to create collective knowledge for all employees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li><strong>People in Viva\u00a0<\/strong>is a new feature that will use AI to create cards with an employee profile rich in details about their knowledge, interests and team goals, in order to help coworkers easily discover connection points, experts and insights in the organization. These insights will be available through Microsoft 365 profile cards and as a new app.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li>Recently, Microsoft launched Viva Engage, which drives digital community building through conversational tools and self-expression with stories. O\u00a0<strong>Leadership<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Corner\u00a0<\/strong>is coming to Viva Engage as a space that invites employees to interact directly with leadership, share ideas and perspectives, as well as participate in the organization&#039;s initiatives, and more.<\/li>\n<li>Viva Goals already helps companies align employees\u2019 work with business results. Now, new Viva Goals integrations will bring goals into the workflow including a\u00a0<strong>richer integration with Microsoft Teams<\/strong>\u00a0to check the OKRs (Objectives and Key Results \u2013 Objectives and main results, in free translation), a\u00a0<strong>Azure DevOps extension\u00a0<\/strong>to complete work items, a\u00a0<strong>connection to the Power BI dataset<\/strong>\u00a0to track KPIs and key results, and integrations with the\u00a0<strong>Microsoft Planner and Microsoft Project\u00a0<\/strong>to automate updates in project management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li>At\u00a0<strong>integrations between Viva Learning and LinkedIn<\/strong>\u00a0Learning have also been improved and will make it even easier for people to access LinkedIn Learning Hub content directly in their Teams workflow. Those interested in training will see their LinkedIn Learning Hub content synchronized, including customized content, selected learning paths and completed courses, all reflected directly in Viva. Admins will be able to set their integrations directly in LinkedIn Learning Hub settings, without the need for APIs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li><strong>Viva Sales, the first role-based experience app on the Viva platform, will be available to everyone on October 3rd.\u00a0<\/strong>Viva Sales unites sales CRM with Microsoft 365 and Teams for a more streamlined, AI-based sales experience, directly in the tool they already use every day to contact customers and close deals. Microsoft is also partnering with Seismic to personalize and scale customer engagement through content generated and recommended by artificial intelligence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li>To simplify access to Viva and help employees start their day aligned, a\u00a0<strong>new viewing experience on Viva Connections\u00a0<\/strong>will show all apps together in one place and\u00a0<strong>an update to the Viva briefing email\u00a0<\/strong>will provide personalized productivity recommendations to help employees stay up to date with work, meetings and
