Agreement between the companies aims to help customers optimize processes and gain productive efficiency through the adoption of IoT, Data Analytics, Cloud and Augmented Reality solutions<\/i><\/p>\n

With the aim of improving its Industry 4.0 strategy, Logicalis, a global information and communication technology solutions and services company, has just signed a partnership with PTC, a provider of technological solutions with a strong presence in the industry segment.\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
For Logicalis, the partnership will allow accelerating the expansion of its offer for Industry 4.0, since PTC was born in the context of digital transformation for industries and is one of the main exponents in the world of IIoT (Internet of Things in Industry). \u201cIn order to serve this segment with agility and offering the most appropriate applications for their reality, we understand that it makes sense to add highly specialized partners to our existing portfolio, such as PTC\u201d, says Fabio Hashimoto, Director of Data Analytics and IoT at Logicalis.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
According to the executive, Logicalis wants to use its knowledge in Data Analytics to integrate data sources, obtained directly from the production line machines, to transform them into information that can be used in decision making, helping to optimize production, of logistical processes and productive operational efficiency.\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
In addition to IoT and Data Analytics, the companies' proposal involves other technologies, such as Cloud and Augmented Reality, enabling innovative use cases. \u201cThe data collected by IoT platforms can be made available in the cloud and undergo real-time modeling, providing information that supports maintenance routines, for example\u201d, exemplifies Ronaldo Oliveira, regional director of PTC for Latin America.\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
Adding Augmented Reality to this structure allows technicians to evaluate different aspects of the machine more accurately since they can, through Augmented Reality, for example, access data on the functioning of components in real time, detecting anomalies and acting preventively. \u201cAugmented Reality also facilitates training routines by allowing technicians in the field to be able to see information in real time to carry out maintenance\u201d, says Oliveira. \u201cThere are many possibilities when we integrate these technologies and, together, Logicalis and PTC are able to accelerate this innovation journey\u201d, concludes Hashimoto.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
