Training made it possible to enter the job market and career transition<\/em>\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Transforma-se, a free 100% technology and data education scholarship program developed by Serasa Experian, is completing the formation of a group of 48 women who are now ready for the job market. In partnership with Digital House, the program featured more than 300 hours of technical training in Web Full Stack Java and Python for Data, as well as the development of personal skills. In total, Transform-se has trained more than 100 people since March 2022.\u00a0<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

According to Serasa Experian's Corporate Responsibility Manager, Roger Cruz, Transform-se is a gateway for women in the technology area. \u201cIn Brazil, despite women representing 52% of the population, they occupy only 25% of the vacancies in technology. That's why we developed a program to transform the lives of these people, training and integrating them in this market that only grows. In the next 5 years, there will be a shortage of about 800 thousand professionals to work in technology. Companies play a key role in changing this scenario, benefiting society as a whole\u201d.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The remote format allowed the participation of fellows from 16 different states. The selected ones did not necessarily have previous knowledge in the area and even with different realities, they established cooperative relationships throughout the course, as highlighted by former podiatrist Viviane Ogusko Saitou, 34, a participant in the program. Mother of little Sayumi, just 2 years old and a resident of S\u00e3o Paulo, saw her work routine change with the arrival of her daughter and the pandemic. \u201cI got pregnant during the pandemic, at that time when everything was closed. So I started looking for an area where I could work from home. I discovered the technology and started a degree in Systems Analysis and Development\u201d.\u00a0<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

all this period\u00a0<\/s>it was challenging for Viviane, who had to manage the time between college, her daughter, and Transform. \u201cIt was intense because I was in college at a distance, I had classes three times a week and during that period my daughter had a health problem. I thought about giving up, but my support network, my teachers and colleagues welcomed and encouraged me\u201d.\u00a0<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Michelly Vedova, 25 years old and a resident of Curitiba, reinforces the human aspect of the training \u201cThe course always addressed technical issues, but also addressed important issues for our lives.\u201d During the course, fellows could also apply for vacancies at Serasa Experian and other companies. \u201cIn the middle of the process, a vacancy appeared at Serasa Experian in the data area. I was insecure because I was taking my first course. But with the encouragement of colleagues and teachers, I applied, did the selection process and passed. Now I'm living a dream, employed in a company full of opportunities that will allow me to develop even more\u201d.\u00a0<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

According to Digital House Brasil CEO Sebastian Mackinlay, promoting inclusion in the technology market is very important. \u201cThis partnership between Digital House and Serasa Experian made us very happy with the results achieved. We had a group with very high learning development, high attendance rate and in addition we saw several students entering the market throughout the course. We consider actions like these to be very important for society, as they promote diversity in the area of technology and the insertion of new talents in a market that urgently needs more qualified people to work in it.
