According to the Association of Information and Communication Technology Companies (ICT) and Digital Technologies (Brascomm), the shortage of these professionals should reach almost 800 thousand by 2025. And when we go down this funnel to the cybersecurity area, the situation is even worst.<\/p>\n<p>With the objective of developing talents and qualifying manpower for the market, Trend Micro, a world leader in cybersecurity solutions,\u00a0<strong>until August 12th, applications are accepted<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0<strong>CPITS \u2013 IT Security Certification Program, which is in its sixth edition and has already qualified\u00a0<\/strong>more than 600 young people all over the world, 160 of which only here in Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>The course is taught by Trend Micro&#039;s global experts and highly regarded professionals. The program addresses the threat scenario, trends and solutions, with practical training in areas of cloud computing, virtualization and networks, in addition to promoting the development of Soft Skills and management. \u201cAll participants will take oral and written tests, and group exercises to develop technical and interpersonal skills, fundamental to acting as a cybersecurity specialist\u201d, explains Cristiano Oliveira, manager of Enterprise Channels at Trend Micro.<\/p>\n<p>CPITS focuses on young college students, technologists or recent graduates in information technology-related careers. \u201cTrend Micro is committed to inclusion and diversity in the sector, so we reinforce the invitation to female talents who are looking for their first job and who do not yet have experience in digital security to apply for the program\u201d, highlights Cristiano.<\/p>\n<p>The following modules are part of the training program: IT Security Fundamentals; The IT security market; Certification in Trend Micro Products; Sale of IT security; Communication and Technical (pre- and post-sales engineering functions).<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates must send a cover letter (PDF - up to 500 words) telling a little about their IT education or experience and explaining why they qualify to participate in the program. They must also be available to start the course in person, at the company&#039;s office, in S\u00e3o Paulo, on September 5th.
