{"id":47045,"date":"2022-07-06T08:39:36","date_gmt":"2022-07-06T11:39:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abes.org.br\/?p=47045"},"modified":"2022-06-25T11:44:40","modified_gmt":"2022-06-25T14:44:40","slug":"pesquisa-totvs-empresas-do-agronegocio-investem-em-tecnologias-aplicadas-ao-transporte-e-armazenagem-mas-ha-espaco-para-crescer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abes.org.br\/en\/pesquisa-totvs-empresas-do-agronegocio-investem-em-tecnologias-aplicadas-ao-transporte-e-armazenagem-mas-ha-espaco-para-crescer\/","title":{"rendered":"TOTVS survey: agribusiness companies invest in technologies applied to transport and storage, but there is room for growth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Logistics Technological Productivity Index (IPT), developed by TOTVS in partnership with H2R Pesquisas Avan\u00e7adas, presents an overview of the degree of technological maturity of Brazilian agribusiness logistics, and reveals that the sector is ahead of other shippers in terms of regarding investments in technology for storage and transport: 54% already has storage management systems and 32% transport management, while the average shipper is 46% and 26%, respectively.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_47046\" style=\"width: 393px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-47046\" class=\"wp-image-47046\" src=\"https:\/\/abes.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Angela-Gheller-TOTVS-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"383\" height=\"255\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-47046\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Angela Gheller, director of Agroindustry and Logistics products at TOTVS.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Agribusiness companies represent 4% of shippers covered by the study, which also interviewed industry representatives, retailers and distributors. Compared to the others, agro stands out positively in the adoption of solutions integrated to means of payment \u2013 41%, while the average of shippers is 30% \u2013 and in risk management \u2013 29%, while the others pointed to 25%. Another number that stands out is in relation to the investment and use of logistics optimization and routing systems, which already reaches 53% of the agro companies interviewed.<\/p>\n<p>Among the storage management systems, agro companies demonstrated the adoption of mobile devices in the operation (50%), integration with hardware (50%) and use of barcode \/ RFID \/ BEACON (40%). When analyzing the application of complementary solutions, 57% uses BI (Business Intelligence) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools, also giving importance to electronic document management (GED) tools.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding future investments in logistics management, for the next two years the agribusiness sector will focus on logistics cost management (47%), load planning tools (43%), fleet monitoring (38%) and checklist system (30% ). \u201cAgribusiness is a national power and for so much production it is necessary to invest even more in storage and transport, since the production needs to be sold. Observing how much this sector has applied technologies aimed at logistics reveals a promising growth scenario\u201d, says Angela Gheller, director of Agroindustry and Logistics products at TOTVS.<\/p>\n<p>The Logistics Technological Productivity Index (IPT) is a study commissioned by TOTVS, one of the largest technology companies in the country, and conducted by H2R Pesquisas Avan\u00e7adas. The survey assesses the degree of application and technological use of both logistics service providers (16%) and shippers (84%). For the study, 740 companies were interviewed, including national and multinational companies, with revenues equal to or above R\uff045 million.
