THE\u00a0Sky.One<\/a><\/u>, a company specialized in the development of technological platforms for the digital evolution of companies, has just acquired\u00a0vublo<\/a><\/u>, provider of cybersecurity services.<\/p>\n

With the acquisition, Sky.One launches the Sky.Security business unit and assembles a team that will guarantee the character of a startup and will act in line with the other Sky.One platforms, taking advantage of the company's operational structures, and incorporating its portfolio of security services.<\/p>\n

With the initiative, Sky.One projects that the new division will represent a growth of 10% in revenue by the end of 2022. In 2022, the goal is again to double its revenue in relation to 2021.<\/p>\n

According to the CEO of Sky.One, Ricardo Brand\u00e3o, currently cybercrime has spread and data theft is a reality in Brazil and worldwide. Therefore, the best way to combat this fact is with technology and joint collaboration of all the actors involved, in order to maximize prevention, remediation and information recovery.<\/p>\n

Brand\u00e3o also states that in addition to complying with LGPD regulations, it is important to rely on the expertise of specialized professionals and technologies focused on this issue. \u201cWe understand the importance of privacy and data protection. In a connected world, no one is exempt from being attacked or leaked. It was with this in mind and in line with the evolution of Digital Transformation that we decided to acquire Vublo\u201d, he explains.<\/p>\n

With just over a year on the market, Vublo was born to simplify security operations. Among the services provided by the company are analysis of security and access configurations and architecture; identification of critical incidents and cost-effective remediation proposals for companies with reduced staff and hybrid environments; continuous monitoring (24\u00d77), identification and treatment of anomalous behavior and advanced threats; and also vulnerability analysis.<\/p>\n

According to Vublo CEO Carlos Carnevali Jr., the company's growth expectations, together with Sky.One, are promising. \u201cWe are excited about this step we have taken in the market. We understand that our services are increasingly essential for organizations, as are their migrations to the cloud. With the acquisition, we want to enhance the offer of our solutions, bringing a complete offer to the market, in addition to supporting Sky.One's current customers\u201d, he highlights.<\/p>\n

Sky.One's acquisition of Vublo marks another step towards the future of cloud security. \u201cCurrently, our\u00a0solutions<\/a><\/u>\u00a0follow three important pillars of cybersecurity, which are: cloud infrastructure, analysis of application vulnerabilities and user protection systems\u201d, reveals Brand\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

According to the global research company Veeam, \u201cRansomware Trends Report 2022\u201d, 72% of organizations worldwide had partial or full attacks on their backup repositories in 2021, dramatically impacting their ability to recover data without paying the ransom. The survey also revealed that 76% of the executives had to pay ransom, but in 24% of the cases the data was not recovered. And, in 72% of the cases, the payment was made with insurance coverage.<\/p>\n

Also according to the research, in 80% of the successful attacks, known vulnerabilities were targeted, reinforcing the importance of applying patches and updating software. In Brazil, the 1st National BugHunt Information Security Survey was carried out, which surveyed 58 national companies. The study revealed that 15.5% of companies are investing more than R$ 300 thousand annually in information security, in order to prevent and monitor the attacks that are always reinventing and evolving.<\/p>\n

Taking this scenario into account and keeping the focus on its specialty \u2013 technological platforms \u2013 Sky.Security's portfolio of security solutions is composed of a platform, Security Manager, and an offer of complementary services. \u201cThe platform brings an essential element to the security of any company: visibility and governance.
