SONDA, a leader in digital transformation in the region, won the public-private partnership (PPP) bidding auction and has already been awarded for the implementation of the Infovia Digital project in Mato Grosso do Sul. It is an innovative initiative that will bring high-speed connectivity to the state.<\/p>\n
Focusing on improving public services for the population, the project will directly impact around 1.7 million people, boosting economic development and social inclusion.<\/p>\n
The contract of R$ 887 million will be signed with the SONDA Consortium, which won the best proposal, with a discount of 50% on the prices to be charged for the services. SONDA will have the concession for the area for the next 30 years and by 2024 it will implement seven thousand kilometers of fiber optic network, interconnecting 79 municipalities in the state, in addition to providing free high-speed internet in 129 public squares \u2013 some as early as 2023.<\/p>\n
In addition, the project also includes the construction of a Network Operations Center (COR) in Campo Grande for video monitoring of squares and vehicles that travel on state highways and in the capital, as well as the installation of 15,000 IP telephony system that uses internet protocol to transmit voice) between administrative units, such as schools, health and public safety units.<\/p>\n
