The adhesion of these cities was boosted from 2019, when the recommendation for the use of electronic trading in the use of Union Transfers resources came into force, a measure established by the Federal Government.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.planalto.gov.br\/ccivil_03\/_ato2019-2022\/2019\/decreto\/d10024.htm\">Decree No. 10,024\/2019<\/a>. Since then, around two thousand municipalities have joined the system, according to data from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/compras\/pt-br\/cidadao\/painel-municipios\">Municipalities Panel<\/a>\u00a0released by the Ministry of Economy (ME) this Monday (4\/4).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-43825\" src=\"https:\/\/abes.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Licita\u00e7\u00e3o-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"334\" height=\"187\" srcset=\"https:\/\/abes.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Licita\u00e7\u00e3o-1.jpg 864w, https:\/\/abes.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Licita\u00e7\u00e3o-1-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/abes.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Licita\u00e7\u00e3o-1-768x429.jpg 768w, https:\/\/abes.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Licita\u00e7\u00e3o-1-18x10.jpg 18w, https:\/\/abes.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Licita\u00e7\u00e3o-1-480x268.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 334px) 100vw, 334px\" \/>\u201cOur system is available free of charge for cities to carry out their purchasing processes. In this way, we are simplifying the work of mayors\u201d, says the special secretary for Debureaucratization, Management and Digital Government of the ME, Caio Mario Paes de Andrade. \u201cBy using Compras.gov.br, there is no need to spend on paid solutions, which generate unnecessary costs. We are also working on the digital transformation of the system to serve municipal managers and the various local entrepreneurs who will be able to participate in these bids\u201d, he adds.<\/p>\n<p>The federal government&#039;s policy of democratizing the use of Compras.gov.br is directly benefiting more than 80% of the Brazilian population that is served in these more than 3,100 municipalities. \u201cPublic purchases are the basis for better public services. This data reveals how this initiative of the ministry is already directly impacting the population\u201d, emphasizes the special secretary. In the last 12 months alone, 33,363 trading sessions were held, which represents, on average, 92 trading sessions per day.<\/p>\n<p>In the Panel of Municipalities it is also possible to analyze the adhesion of cities by state. Minas Gerais, for example \u2013 which is the state with the most cities in Brazil \u2013 already has more than half of its municipalities using Compras.gov.br. 492 of the 853 existing are registered in the system. Rond\u00f4nia and Acre also stand out, with all cities already using the system. The North region has the most municipalities using Compras.gov.br: there are about 78%.<\/p>\n<p>The largest city in Brazil is the one that has the most trading sessions on Compras.gov.br. S\u00e3o Paulo has already carried out more than two thousand trading sessions in the last 12 months.
